Professor Millia Graft, head of bio-tech for The Leap Foundation, was in attendance per her company's request. There were concerns about Stark and her new pet project giving away for free what they wanted to get on the market, so far as ecological preservation technologies were concerned. She tolerated it, as she did most things she perceived as wastes of time in exchange for her position. She was giving a golf clap to the speech when something caught her eye.

A very familiar face, accompanying some large armored metahuman. The face she, and the Foundation's marketing department, had programmed. She gets out her phone, speaking in casually content tones. "Dear? Yes, it's me. No, everything's fine, just checking in. You know that trinket I wanted you to pick up? I just remembered where I saw it. Yes, we should get it right away. See you tonight."

She hangs up and takes a picture of the subject and the one he was accompanying. She also sends a text message to the company's private security detail, requesting tracking.

This night turned out better than she could have hoped for.

...Even if she just had a very suspiciously vague and generic sudden phone conversation. There wasn't enough detail to warrant making that call if it was actually about jewelry. It screamed code.

Gio narrowed her eyes at the woman, looking very carefully.
