Manny had managed to have a suit made to fit his body, even if it cost him a pretty penny. He wasn't going to embarrass Bea by going to a fancy restaurant "naked". He carefully opened his dresser and picked up the coupon like it was a precious item. With a deep breath he went to find Bea.

Bea politely smiles and thanks the waiter, tries her stranglopreti happily, then a little more thoughtful. "She doesn't mean it maliciously, though. It's just how she works. Her brain isn't like most people's. I should know; I read up on it enough before I put a bullet in it... is my going on about Kelly being irritating? I don't want to make my personal responsibilities your problem if so."

The instincts of an exasperated youth spent helping cut up Uncle Laz's food for him are successfully suppressed, for the sake of both their dignity. Manny's not a kid, and she's not responsible for him. She sympathizes for the annoyance and difficulty, but respects that he'll be able to handle it.
Speaking of responsibility. "Thanks. I try to do right by her without, y'know, endangering the world more than necessary."
