The City By The Bay
The car arrived at the Avengers mansion to pick Buck up and take him to the airport where the private jet was waiting. A few hours later the jet would touch down in San Francisco airport where Anya would be waiting for him holding a sign that said "Buck Rogers" on it.

"If it weren't the Giants in the playoffs, I'd be tempted to stay in by that statement. Let's go... and plan for a late night."

"It's a good thing neither of us need a lot of sleep," she said and kissed him.

He returns the kiss, hands roaming a little before making himself stop, turning and offering her an arm instead.

"Ok, so steak dinner then."

"Steak dinner and ballgame. You'll have to help me pick out some Giants gear. I only have Yankees right now."

"We'll want to do the shopping on the way then, before it gets too crazy. So sporting goods shop - all of which should be packed with Giants gear about now, then steak, then game. Got it. You'll look great all properly geared up though."

"We can get it at the stadium, right? This way we have more time for dinner."

"We could, but the pro shop there will be packed. It would take a lot more time, and involve a lot more fighting through people than hitting the mall on the way."

"I didn't think of it that way," Anya said. "You're right. We'll stop someplace on the way then."

"Yankees fans are a lot more casual about the team making the playoffs than anyone else, so not a surprise. We can make it a quick stop."

"You have a point," she said. "It's not like we're going to lose our seats if we're late."

"Very true. Better to not be late, but I think we've allowed for enough time."

"You know me, fashionably late most of the time." Well it was usually more losing track of time, but fashionably late sounded better.

"Long as we're there for the pledge. Dad would never forgive me. The rest of the pre-game stuff, I'm ok missing, and gets us there in plenty of time for the actual start of the game."

"Hopefully," she said. "We do tend to balance each other out pretty well." Which was probably good for everyone around them.

"Its true. Not exactly an opposites extract, but we do complement each other well. Toni might have even had a chance to catch up on her sleep."

"Well, you are in a different city now, and trying to divide time between work, dating and being a Stark. That's a lot to juggle."
