Nightly Routine (open)
Things had settled down since their return to Migard and Svalin was more at ease with Brandr around. Between the two of them Vernique and Solver were protected and things between Svalin and her wife were better. The tension was gone and the both of them were better for it.

Svalin had settled into a nightly routine after her wife and son were sleeping. With Brandr there, Svalin could spend most of the night in the training room. Each night she tried a new scenario and it always involved a dragon. The upcoming solstice weighed on her mind and even though she knew she would die, she would fight her hardest before she died. She was slowly going through any dragon she could find, real or in myth and legend.

When she was finished in the training room she would head down to the beach and go for a swim. The water invigorated her and was soothing on her tired and sore muscles.

Tonight was no different from the others. She had just finished battling Smaug from the Hobbit book and had taken a beating. She was tired, sweaty and sore. A swim in the ocean would be wonderful. Tomorrow night she planned on battling a balrog.

She stripped off her clothes and dived into the water.

	He scoots over and listens closely, taking note of the buttons she indicates before leaning over to push the power button. To his delight, it actually works. 	Svalin held her breath a bit when he leaned in close. The only man who had been this close to her had been Jon. It was a bit unsettling. "Mayhap it ist for the best," Svalin said as she pressed he correct buttons to start the movie playing. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Aye. I may need to one day ask thee again for a lesson in this remote," he smiled. The experience of watching a movie was new to him, and the setting reminded him more of Asgard than anything he'd run into on Midgard, so the movie manages to tear his attention away from her. He reminds himself that she is the lady it's his duty to serve, and perhaps he shouldn't let his eye wander her way. Though really, as long as he could serve her and do his duty properly should it matter too much?

	"Ah...well if the lady should wish that then I shalt," he concedes, feeling a little uncomfortable letting the lady he was supposed to serve do the work. But the mention of mead perks him right up. 	"Aye it doth have mead, but this ist mead I brought back from Asgard." Svalin smiled. "Migard mead ist not as good." With that Svalin disappeared into the small kitchen and fetched two glasses and a bottle of Asgardian mead. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
