The past few days had been quite the experience. Summer had met all sorts of people as she worked at getting settled in to her place at the school. So far, everyone had been really nice. Except Christopher when she'd told him she was quitting. Even less so when he discovered she'd had all her funds transferred to a local bank account. It had turned into a real screaming match until hotel security came in to break it up.
Summer and all her belongings were now settled into a room at Xavier's and she was anxiously awaiting classes to begin. She felt kind of old to be a student, though. It would take some getting used to. Until then, she wandered the grounds and got to know her new surroundings.
Presently, she was barefoot in shorts and a tank top with a green, rubber ball in hand. The weather outside was too nice to ignore when she had it on good authority that cold and nasty weather was soon to arrive. She tossed the ball from hand to hand as she walked. She'd noticed the activity around the garage and wandered over to see what was happening.
"Hello?" The guy washing the jeep looked kind of familiar.
