Once more on the hunt, Sammy moves faster and tugs hard on his hand to get him to keep up.
The first apartment on the list was a little worse for wear. SHIELD safe houses tended to be secure. Safe was a whole different matter. It wasn't that she expected to move into a hotel-type room with everything working, but she was hoping for more in the convenience department. Like a microwave.
But, it wouldn't be hers if she didn't have to work for it, including cleaning it up and replacing things. Like the cracked window. Water faucet handles. Water faucet.
"Tell me what you think, and don't bog down in the cosmetic issues. I want to know if this could be liveable in a month."
