About a Boy
The recent trip to New York had been fun, but it meant time away from chores and practice. She missed her nightly sparring session with Brandr. Not only because he helped her improve her skills, but because she missed him too. The man had caused her a lot of confusion lately and had spent a lot of time in her head.

She was lost in thought as she groomed Tryggvi.

	"He ist...hath he told thee that he ist interested in me?" He had never shown interest in her outside of their sparring matches. Or had he? Svalin would be the first to admit that she wasn't good at dealing with people outside of battle and the practice yard. Aridis was the one who could talk to people and knew what they wanted. 	"...Okay, it's not really my strongest suit either when it comes to someting that could become a serious relationship. But you two need to hash out whehter you're for something. 	Svalin pondered different ways of approaching the subject with Brandr, but in the end she couldn't come up with anything outside of telling him that her wife thought they should talk. It was direct and do the point. Just what Svalin liked. She went to find Brandr. (Reply to this)(Thread)

Whenever he wasn't around Lady Vernique or Solver, Brandr could usually be found in the training room. The thing fascinated him and gave him the opportunity to fight whatever he wished.

She arrives just as he's finished a fight with a hoarde of orcs and he turns with an grin that's clear he's still riding on the high from the battle. "Lady Svalin! Well met," he bows, still smiling.

It was a good thing he was turned away because it gave him a chance to collect his thoughts. This was new territory for him too,no relationships of any sort while he was on duty was his norm. Off duty was fine, but on duty and with a lady you were supposed to be serving? Entirely unfamiliar territory. "Mayhap," he nods but doesn't know how to start talking about this sort of thing.

It was a little surprising to hear it out loud and put so certainly, but a small amused smile creeps onto his face at the last bit. "Lady Svalin, it wouldst be difficult for me to see a woman such as thineself as only a good friend." He then stops abruptly and bows. "I assure you milady that this has not, and shalt not, affect mine duties to thee or Lady Vernique and the young lord."
