AU meme: Errands galore
Martin adjusts his hat and grins. They were going to visit Dr. Strange! He didn't get to go to Earth's dimension often, and there was so much fun to do with magic. Even better? Clea would be escorting them there which meant for the first few days? Lots of long errands (which they generally ignored) and no supervision!

Translation: fun magic time.

What should we start with? I hope we stay long enough to finish our fun stuff to-do list.

Vincent catches the spike in tension with the young lady. "I'm sorry, is something wrong? I can assure you that the Fantastic Four most certainly do have a sorcerer in their ranks." He bristles just a little bit. "Although my scientific acumen isn't anything to sneeze at either..."

He then turns to the boy with her, smiling. "Yes, our newest assortment just came out last month. All profits going to charity, as usual."

	"Oh. So of course we haven't heard of you," Martin responds, now glancing at Marlow with a 'of course, he's not the real deal'. "And sorcerers need action figures even less. Real sorcerers don't." "I am quite real, I assure you." He tries to keep the edge out of his voice. He's still not quite sure what these two are up to. "And the action figures are an annual tradition for the Fantastic Four. Like the Hess Truck for Christmas or the buckets at McDonalds for Halloween." That reminded him, he needed to double-check that eBay auction for Andrea.

"Now... I don't mean to be rude, but why exactly are you making yourselves into illusory red pandas in front of everyone?"

	"You have been rude," Marlow said firmly. She cast her own spell, cloaking the rude not-really-a-hero person with a red panda illusion. Her illusions were Ikonn-solid. Martin looks decidedly unimpressed by Vincent. "That doesn't mean anything. It only says that you copy McDonald's." The unspoken bit, but one that's clear by the look he shares with Marlow, is that really, what sorcerer copies McDonald's? Clearly not a real one.

He nods firmly in agreement with Marlow. Yes, this guy had been very rude, the least he could do was make up for ruining their panda hunt by helping. "Yes, you need to help for interrupting the panda search. And being rude about it."

"I apologize for any offense." He forces the word out. "If you'd like, I can help you locate some actual red pandas... they don't have them here at the moment."

At least that would get these two lunatics out of the enclosure. At least they don't seem like they mean any harm.

	Martin still didn't like the guy but it was easier to put up with him while he looked like a red panda. Everyone looked cute as a red panda, even not-hero-not-sorcerer people. "We're looking for red pandas that's why Marlow did these illusions," Martin nods. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Maybe not for normal people, but we're different," Marlow said with a firm nod. "We're magical. And we're not allowed to bother the gods to get a Cerberus puppy."

The last was something of a sore spot with her. She hadn't intended to /bother/ Hades, only ask if she could have one of his dog's puppies from the next litter. If one just happened to follow them home, what harm could it be?

The same principle had to apply to pandas and other cuddly creatures.

"If you know a lot about pandas, climb the tree and show us how they act," she suggested to Vincent. "We might have it wrong and it would be helpful."

Clearly Clea and her two students had very different definitions of 'bother'. Martin thought Marlow's Cerberus puppy idea was brilliant and would fit right at home in the Dark Dimension. Really, he was sure Hades didn't want to take care of so many puppies! Why not give them one? It would be a great pet sidekick for adventures.

"Yeah, you look like a panda now, so you should act like one. If you're so great you should be able to do it easily."

	Vincent lets out a sigh. It's probably best to humor the mentally imbalanced, so long as they're not actually hurting anyone for now. He can figure out a better solution as he goes. And so, the panda does a handstand. It's very cute. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Martin looks over at Marlow with a look of award-worthy levels of unimpressed. And vaguely annoyed. Everyone knew pandas didn't do handstands.

"Let's. Maybe another zoo has them," Martin nods, purposefully ignoring Vincent now, who he's determined is not worth any time. Not a sorcerer or hero who was making fun of them? He might still pretty much be a kid but there were standards in his book. The Martin-panda hops back onto the his magic disc and floats over to Marlow-panda. "Your turn to teleport us, this other panda is no good."
