The mist...creepy as hell. But Toni didn't seem to be worried about it, so Jack let it go to focus on the objective. Take down the time manipulator. Maybe Misty had a better idea than surprise to beat this one.

He sank into an easy crouch, billy club in hand. A better choice than the short sword for the moment.
