Hajime was already taking a lot of risks with his technique, but is doing his best to hold out - and then the music hits. Its not like anything he's ever felt - despite which, he adapts fairly quickly after just a moment of surprise. He's lucky he has the extra speed, as that moment almost costs him. He blade still opens up a cut to the side of his face, but he ducks back in time to avoid losing an eye, or worse.
Then he's right back at her, precision strikes coming at musically-enhanced blinding speed, aiming with precision at eyes, the goddess' throat, anywhere he thinks he might be able to make even the slightest impression against her divine invulnerability.
