Date Night
There were a lot of things on Migard one could indulge in, but Svalin only had two. The first was chocolate. She couldn't get enough of it and loved it in any form. The other was a shower. Svalin loved showers. She took one every day, not because training and working with the horses worked up a sweat and usually left her quite fragrant, but because she loved the feel of hot water falling down on her.

Svalin stepped out of the shower and quickly toweled herself off. She wrapped the large turkish bath towel around herself and stepped out into her bedroom. Now to find something to wear. What did one wear on a date?

	He took the container from her and peaked in. "Aye, it looks appetizing." Taking a short knife hidden on him out (he couldn't be expected to go anywhere without a blade, duties or not), he divides the portion in order to place half on her plate. 	Brandr groans slightly at the sudden storm. Wonderful, yet another bump in the evening. "E'en Odin's beard wouldn't be safe from this." But he's quite efficient in packing everything up, and he's the first one standing, offer her a hand up with the usual dashing smile. "What do you say milady? A last moment dash for it?" 	Svalin took the offered hand and stood up. "Nay. It ist only rain." She had slept in downpours and getting wet didn't bother her. The fact that the night was further ruined is what angered her. Maybe it was a sign that this was something that wasn't meant to be. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

He sighed slightly but gave her a soft smile. "Milady...just because we art used to what some may consider hardships doth not mean we must endure them simply because we can." He stops before continuing since he sees the expression on her face. "Aye, only rain, it ist not enough to ruin the eve." Perhaps he could persuade her to use that illusion training room (excellent midgard magic or technology as they called it), to make a better location for a picnic. Perhaps Asgard.

	It bothered him that she seemed to be letting the events get her down, and he wasn't quite sure how to cheer her up. What'd work on most women wouldn't work on her, she wasn't like most. But he walked along lightly, looking up at the rain thoughtfully. "I think this is a good omen." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
