I got a tortured mind and my blade is sharp. A bad combination in the dark
The objective was breathtakingly simple: Take out a warehouse full of black market weapons and tech that the bad guys had been using as a cache, but do it to a) leave a message and b) not be traced back to the good guys. Beautiful, direct. It was also much easier on paper than it looked on a rooftop adjacent to said warehouse.

"You know, I'm spotting some actual security on this place, instead of the usual. Cameras, floodlights, hell, even the armed guards look alert. Smart grunts, that's new."

The redhead was pretty specific - the actual goods in the warehouse were penny ante, but she wanted to know who these guys were getting their supplies from. No one moved black market goods into the region without cutting the Kingpin in. Given the level of security though, this wasn't a job for street thugs - so she called Kelly in. Any means necessary - interrogation, hacking records, finding numbers in a cel phone... but figure out who these guys were working with... and otherwise, have some fun with it.

Speaking of fun... huh, who's that on that adjacent rooftop? Looks like someone else is scoping the place out. She gets a running start, barely making it across the wide gap between buildings. Sure, she knows how to roll with the jump and fall just fine, no big deal. But the broken leg from intentionally landing wrong sends a jolt of adrenaline through her, and is healed by the time she makes her way to the brunette.

"You don't look like one of theirs. So, looks like a party, huh?"

Frances was about pack it up and move it when a motion out of her peripheral caught her attention. When the incoming object became a woman that just jumped across the gap, she did consider the handgun tucked away. Brushing off her suit, she smirked crookedly and shook her head at the question.

"Nope, I'm hopefully prettier than theirs," she agreed. This woman was obviously meta of some sort, judging from the landing, and by how she was dressed, probably here for similar intentions. "Well I am looking to light up the place. What brings you to this neck of the woods?"

"No comparison, you're way hotter than one of theirs. Especially with that piece you almost went for. Might have noticed it when I was staring at your ass with the binocs from over there... definitely higher standard in firearms than these jokers." she answers casually, turning back to consider the location below at the question.

"My boss needs to know who's their next up on the food chain. Beyond that, they, and all their stuff is burnable. What say I help you deal with the numbers game and fireworks, and you help me find what I need without relaying too much about the compromise to your higher ups?"

...Well okay, not every night someone came bursting into an op to check you and your guns out. And then your firearms too. "To be honest, I couldn't ask for a prettier shadow to come dropping in on me. And thank you, she's a Hungarian, a small company that pretty impressive with handguns."

"Both of us hit them the same night? Damn, who did they piss off?" Tipping her head to the side, she considered the options. Well, it solved both of their problems and didn't really break any rules. "...I'm game. I can pick off some of the herd and leave the higher ups talking for a nice chat while I redecorate. Anything I should have a head's up with?"

Another glance down. "Sorry, who they pissed off is classified, but you can try and get me drunk and seduce it out of me. Won't work, but, you know, you can try. As for heads up, you're welcome to whatever you want in there. If you want to play sniper, I'll do the ground pounding and draw fire then. Long as I get my info, the rest can burn as far as anyone on my side is concerned."

Frances sighed and shrugged, not surprised the trigger didn't get to know the why on these kinds of things. "As long as I have permission to. Maybe I'll forget the interrogation part and just stick to the drinking." Tossing a spare comms to the mystery redhead, she nodded. "Sounds good, I'll stay out of your way and clear it best I can. If shit hits the fan, I could go mobile and join the fun."

"Hey, if you want to go for a drink after this, first few rounds are on me. Your choice of 'my tab' or 'bodyshots' definition of on me. Don't worry about staying out of my way. Shoot with extreme prejudice, I'll be fine, and enjoy the show up close." she replies, catching the com out of the air and putting it on.

She whistles and shrugs. "Well, if that isn't incentive enough to finish this up neat and sweet, I can't think of anything. Go play nice."

"Where have you been all my ops?" she mutters under her breath and grins, grabbing the rifle case and settling to a prime spot for her half of the deal. Time to drop some bad guys.

Kelly leaps off the rooftop, rolling with the impact below. Even with the roll, the multi-story drop should be a risk - but she seems to be up and moving again within moments. She's quick and quiet, clearly having had some stealth training as she approaches the front lines.

Frances scans ahead of the package to ensure a quick entrance. She starts with the warehouse's own rooftop pigeons, clearing out the early warning when others start dropping. There's four ahead of the woman, so she picks the furthest off first so the closer ones don't sound the alarm.

Not about to give away her position any time before she has to, Kelly forgoes going for her guns, and draws two knives instead, silencing the first sentries she reaches that had some cover from sniper fire before continuing on her way.

When she reaches the first wall unnoticed, she proceeds to set up plastiques, signalling to Frances with finger count that its on an eight minute timer.

Hm, guns and blades. Frances gives a click back on the comms to confirm she saw the count, then sweeps again. If she drops too many too fast, they'll be onto the two of them. Instead she checks the vehicles, gives a few a flat tire in case there's a retreat.

Kelly continues to move point to point, trusting the sniper to deal with the watchers from above while she hits sniper points. She sets two more explosives, syncing them with the first, and each time, flashes a quick signal of the time remaining.

Well they will certainly be leveling the warehouse, anything within that much plas will be slagged nicely. Shit, motion from deeper inside. "Next corner, eight," she warns quietly and shifts to get ready. That many need to be dropped, fast. She waits just long enough for them to all be away from the corner before she starts picking them off.

"On it." She acknowledges, heading right for them.

Eight is too many to for anyone to pick off without the alarm going up - so she heads right at them. There's an alarm and guns out anyway - but thanks to her support, not near as many as it had been. She still takes a couple of shots but keeps coming at them, throwing a knife at one, finishing the second, one of the ones who tags her, with an action-movie worthy spin kick. By the time she's done, her sniper has the other six.

"Nice... shooting." she grunts back, catching her breath.

That was fast, she was efficient in close-combat and brutal until the opponent dropped. Do not get onto this lady's bad side. "Shit Xena, those were some good moves. Just keep going; the clock's ticking." Frances reloaded and scanned ahead, concerned; sniper or not, get was as useful as a tit on a toad once her partner got inside. "Where will you find your talkers?"

Catching her breath takes a couple moments while the shot in the lung heals, but she pushes on anyway, a lot more bloodied, but moving.

"Upstairs, conference room. I can fight through the guards downstairs if I need to, but if you can find me something I can get up to a second story window with, we won't cut it as close. Dumpster, crates, anything not heavily guarded. What are you seeing?" she manages, on the move, amidst a few coughs and pauses.

"You've got it." She shifted away from the path and scanning around the complex. Nothing really easy per se, but clearly she was of the caliber that 'tricky' wasn't bad.

"There's a transport truck parked near the side, fifteen meters to your left. If you get on it, probably from a crate or two nearby, it looks like an office window is right above. Shitty ledge though, you'll have to hoist. I can open the window for you."

"Do it as soon as I hit the truck. Too soon will have guards on me." she agrees. Kelly goes into parkour mode, sprinting the distance, hitting the crates in stride, bouncing from one to the next, and a backflip from the top onto the truck. A short sprint later, she's heading for the window and getting ready to jump.

She shifts and waits for the right moment, training on the woman to time this right. Running, crates, truck and coiled for high jump. Frances hits the window with three bullets to weaken and shatter. With the window compromised, she sees a surprised suit reaching for under his jacket. She puts one in his shoulder before the window's occupied with the jumper.

"Beautiful." Kelly calls over coms as she makes her leap. "Shot was pretty good too."
Mid-jump, she draws both pistols, rolling with the landing and taking out the people going for guns, making sure a couple of the shots are debilitating, but non-lethal.

She shuts off her com temporarily to make sure nothing said gets back to some authority or other. By the time she's back at the window, flashing a thumbs up, with someone over one shoulder, its getting dangerously close to the end of countdown.

"Hey, you don't have the view I do," Frances bounces back. The distance makes the gun fire hard to hear but the tell tale click of the comms being shut off comes in crystal clear. "Not welcome anymore, I get it." She swept for any stragglers while the ninja did her thing.

"Book it fast," Frances warned and stayed in place to watch her trail and keep anyone from following.

At the comment about the view, Kelly grins, and pulls her shirt up over her chest as she continues bolting away from the place with a presumably unconscious body over her shoulder.

Soon as she hits the straightaway, she stops worrying about taking fire, just getting as much speed and momentum going as she can. There's a little gunfire, but its not long before the timers go off, and the place goes up.

Frances snickers at getting flashed before the place goes up in a big way. That was the cue to get the hell away from the fireball. Looping the rifle over her shoulder and grabbing the bag, she simply goes for the fire escape and slides down while the secondary explosions pop and boom.

"Looks you caught a good one, don't have to throw him back. Need a ride, my car can fit a guy in the trunk."

Kelly nods when she catches up, a bit singed, still bearing signs of a few bullet holes, but she seems to be moving fine by now. "I'll do you one better. I'm not sure who you work for, but you have the look of something official. I got most of what I needed, but didn't have time for a full interrogation. Just told him and his buddy whoever spilled first got a lift out of the big badda-boom. So... you want a prisoner? You can take credit for getting your org the intel, you just have to share it with me on the side, and I don't have to risk revealing one of my boss' safehouses to some kind of fed. Hot, sexy, gun toting fed, but still."

She makes a face about being caught as official, reminds herself tweak gear to not look so shined-boots and spiffy-clean. "No no, it would be a professional discourtesy to swoop on your safehouse, I get that." Picking up the guy's head, she reasons the schmuck wouldn't remember the trade off anyway. Which means Frances doesn't have to mention anyone else in the report. "And clean up'll be easy too. Fine and dandy, but how am I going to get you the goods once he talks? Care to swap digits or shall I just start posting personal ads in Craigslist?" she asked and smirks crookedly.

"I was figuring I'd give you my number, and you can call when you're ready to go celebrate our victory... and massive explosions. Always worth celebrating those. Besides, I believe I owe you some body shots."

"Hey, as long as you can't resist body shots from me, I'm all good with it."

She goes through her things til she can get out a small pen and mini-pad of paper, noting down her number. She pulls in very close, grinning all along, putting a hand into her new friend's back pocket, amidst a little groping, by way of leaving the folded paper with her number there.

"Call me and tell me where we're partying, chica."

Kelly nods. "Looking forward to it." she replies, talking while lingering in the distinct flirtatious invasion of personal space.

Then she hands over her prisoner, officially, backing off, and going running and leaping off the sniping rooftop.
