Kelly does catch it. Right in the ribcage. She goes staggering back, flinging the manhole at Ajax's knee while her eyes are still clearing.
"Shame, you're missing out. Me? I feel pain all the time. So its saying something when I tell you this is at least a little more pain than my average date." she replies, while forcing the knife back out.
"I've got to admit - you have the killer instinct to make this fun. Most of our baddies... they just don't have it. You're also stronger than me, faster than me, more armored, and you heal... neat tricks."
A moment of coughing up a little more blood, making her grin through it really extra disturbing.
"But I know something you don't know."
