Lightning Strikes
 Stephen Remus sat in the office of his penthouse, smoking a cigarette as he looked out the window.

"You have your team. You ready for your first outing?" Remus asked the figure behind him.

"Yes," came the audibly distorted voice. "We know where they'll all be."

Remus takes another drag of his cigarette before responding. "Good. You've all been practicing, let's see how you do against the real thing. Good hunting."

The sound of metallic boots are heard leaving as the figure goes to announce the mission's start.

Adrienne ducked under the blow, aiming a few kicks as she righted herself.

"Please do not tell me you are still upset about zat?!"

Millicent did her best to either dodge or roll with the blows from the kicks.

"That was what opened my eyes. The black spot on our friendship." She swings the nunchaku once as a feint before turning with an elbow strike. "In the end all things fell back to you and what you thought. Well this time I'm going to prove that I am your equal!"

The elbow strike hit home, putting Adrienne back on the defensive.

"Ze boy would have been no good for you. I did you a favor."

Adrienne's statement temporarily halts Millicent's next attack.

"It was my decision to make! Who were you to determine what's best for me!?"
