Svalin moved the staff to block the axe blow. She didn't need that biting into flesh. The punch landed on the side of her face that didn't hurt. Now the pain was equal on both sides. She wouldn't be surprised if her cheek bones were broken.
Svalin stumbled and went down to the floor. She immediately rolled to prevent axe from her.
