Small animals make everything more fun...right?

He'd been polite and had even used that knocking-spell Orlen had set up on her place to get permission before teleporting in. He didn't really see the point of it really, but if that was what people wanted...alright then.

Currently he was set up on her living room floor, sitting there and showing off new minor spells he'd been practicing. As if the poor archer's place didn't have enough magic in it, here he was infusing extra in the air. "May I have something to drink please?" Magic was thirsty work and one did not manage to make her books dance to The Black Keys without needing a refreshment. Disney had it right, musicals were best with normally inanimate objects.

Martin just beamed some more and nodded. "She's the best."

Once the change had been counted out, he held out his hat for the watiress to drop it in his hat, the issue of getting it all out later and putting it in her wallet could be sorted out another time. She'd get it all back of course, money stuff was a mundane concern that Dr. Strange said sorcerers shouldn't worry themselves about, and Martin was fine with that. "Thank you for the milkshakes, Miss," Martin smiled at the lady and gave her a gentlemanly hat tip once he put it back on his head. That there was no jingling sound of change falling out was odd to say the least but those were details he hadn't considered.

"I should give you a tour of our HQ, but we're not allowed in all the rooms though. Or Anya's lab," he whispered confidentially to the owl on his shoulder once they were out of earshot and heading to the door.

The milkshake outing went better than Frances was hoping for and when they left, she sighed in relief. If shenanigans were going to happen, the training stressed having it away from public eyes. She made a small noise to acknowledge, made sense to not have a guest go through everyone's bedrooms. And if something got unleashed from Anya's lab? She shuddered and settled on his shoulder to watch the people going by.
