Small animals make everything more fun...right?

He'd been polite and had even used that knocking-spell Orlen had set up on her place to get permission before teleporting in. He didn't really see the point of it really, but if that was what people wanted...alright then.

Currently he was set up on her living room floor, sitting there and showing off new minor spells he'd been practicing. As if the poor archer's place didn't have enough magic in it, here he was infusing extra in the air. "May I have something to drink please?" Magic was thirsty work and one did not manage to make her books dance to The Black Keys without needing a refreshment. Disney had it right, musicals were best with normally inanimate objects.

"It's better than those latin spellbooks so far. Though they both throw in all these new names and terms you've never heard of and have to figure out. That gets a little weird sometimes," he shrugged as some popcorn floated out of his bowl and tossed themselves towards his mouth. Though a piece or two bounced off his nose. And another his eye.

"Well then hobbits are silly," he frowned with a significant amount of indignation. "Because if they could do magic they wouldn't spend all their time growing stuff like...lettuce! Hmph." He crossed his arms and frowned at the TV as if compelling it to agree with him. "So do the wizards live a long time since there's only 5 of them? Are they all old? Because if none of them are young or there are no new ones what happens if something happens to one of the five?" Obviously the wizards were the main concern here. "So then if we were in Lord of the Rings, I'd be a wizard and you'd be an elf that does pretty archery? Or are they pretty and do archery? Well...either way!"

She smirked and wavered a popcorn a few times at Martin, aimed and pitched it into his mouth. Tossing some in the air, she caught two and dropped one. Eh, most still counted.

"Hobbits like things simple, good and honest work instead of flashy illusions. But," she bargained for Hobbits' sake. "They are very fond of fireworks." Trying to not grin at her interrogation, she tried to keep spoilers out of her explanations. "Well, the wizards came from the land beyond Middle Earth. They work for the Valinor, the gods and goddesses that made Middle Earth. There's five because five is an important number, and they are two thousand years old, but if damaged bad enough, will die." Heh, cliffhanger for the Two Towers. Of course he wanted to be a wizard, but she laughed. "No, elves are like the metas running around here, mutants and super-soldiers. They walk on snow and have crazy-good eyesight. I'd be a human archer, but a badass one."

He leaned back and managed to snag the popcorn thrown his way. Victory! Though flying popcorn was always a bit hard to catch.

"I saw the fireworks part of this first movie! But that's it...but I tried the dragon firework from it! It works really well!" He'd been so excited by the idea that he hadn't finished the movie and had instead gone off to practice the new idea. He'd even used it on their GQ-like magic car chase. "It's good they like fireworks, and anyway, I can't do illusions. That's Marlow's stuff." He shifted a bit in his seat and kicked off his shoes to sit on his feet on the couch. "Two thousand? Wow. I don't think I'll live that long." And of course a wizard! What else was he supposed to do? "Hmm, okay you can be the badass human archer that all the elves wish they could shoot like."

She clapped at his excellent catch of the popcorn, chewing happily on hers. Mm peanut butter, chocolate and popcorn.

"It is a pretty awesome firework, isn't it? Normal fireworks can't compete," she agreed sagely. Snickering, she shook her head. "And you'd have to trade the top hat for a big pointy hat like Gandalf's when you got that old. And a beard down to your elbows!" Sitting up, she gave him a proper bow when he decided she was the bestest archer. "Aww! You are too kind, good sir."

"Because they're magic," he nods even more sagely before wrinkling his nose at the trading in the hat. "Oh, no. Pointy hats are terrible and silly and nobody uses them! And I can't grow a beard like that! Goatees are better. Lots of sorcerers have goatees. Especially the best one!" In response to her bow he grinned and bowed himself, taking off his hat with a gentlemanly swoop for her. "Nope, just kind enough, good archer lady."

She rolled her eyes playfully when he gushed about Doctor Strange and his facial hair stylings and then tossed some popcorn at him. "Alright, alright, let's get this party started, we've got a lot of film to cover." She leaned back and pushed the button, looking around when the lights automatically dimmed for them. "Nice digs, Pip."

He puffed up proudly, even though he had nothing to do with the entertainment system or room. "Thank you! You should tell Anya that though." He paused, and tried to remember if he knew if Frances knew her ID or not. But wasn't it public she funded the team even if the Iron Girl thing wasn't? Well Frances was on the Avengers, and they were important superheroes, so it should be okay. "We can make more popcorn for the next movie. It'll be your turn though, I did this one."

Anya would be the better person to praise, but this was his house and his team. She waved off the concerned looked and nodded, promising to relay the comment to the right person. "I think I can manage the next popcorn refill, just don't inhale it all before we get to Lothlorien, alright?"

He gave her an earnest nod. "I promise to chew properly." He even managed to keep the youthful earnest and very sincere look for a good moment after before breaking into a grin.

With a snort, she tossed a smaller pillow at him before wriggling into her spot to the long haul. "Good for you, little bunny Foofoo."

There was some muffled laughter before his half-hearted attempt at dodging, which failed utterly, as he got hit in the head. Martin bit his lip and covered his mouth with his hat, not saying anything just trying to keep the smile in.

Though midway through the movie there may have been a hooting sound behind her. Maybe. He was completely innocent, like always.

Aside from some minor (yes, minor!) magical accidents, he'd had a fun day. And an owl. That was probably the best part. Not that he'd tell Frances that.
