Another ginger on scene
The shift from Lexie being around in the capacity of adoring hanger-on to that of actual team member (even in a "novice-capacity" - her father's words) had a lot of build up only to find that when it happened...it wasn't a whole lot different than before. Still...she felt pretty damn cool with her cup of coffee, hanging out in the kitchen, just being one of the guys.

Rufus walked into the kitchen looking to make himself some lunch. He hadn't gotten a good breakfast that morning having woken up late and having to then rush to his classes that morning. But that was why you set up a long lunch for right?

"Hey Lexie," Rufus says as he enters the room.

"Hey! Rufus!" She said that to brightly, her voice almost squeeked and she quickly cleared her throat and leaned against the counter, lowering her voice to a less shrill octive as she tried to tap down the to-eager, to-bright smile into a more stoic expression. "I mean...what's up?"

Her eyes lit up at that - her 16th birthday *was* just days away and all pretense of being cool and mature melted away, "..why? did you hear something??"

"No. Just seemed like a good joke question. Why have you seen something," He asked. Precog's did have that type of advantage sometimes.
