The Serpent Strikes
Vadoma gave the members of the Serpent Society instructions on what they were to do. They were being paid quite handsomely to do a small job. The job was to destroy a factory in the Boston area.

It was a simple plan. Get in and do as much damage as possible. Then get out before being captured.

	Once Martin teleports them in, Beatrice's realizations immediately point her towards their being a lot of explosives about. She tries to consider which are the most imminently dangerous and goes in to deactivate them, keeping her awareness available for whomever might be watching his handiwork. 	Since she wasn't finding any where explosion was imminent, Bea decided it was safe to focus on the source, tracking him in the attempt to come up from behind, if she could keep it simple and clobber him at that precise point on the back of the skull, she would. 	Keelback got hit and the shot hit a shoulder. That side of his body was knocked back and it made him pause for a moment. He'll have a nice bruise there later, but for now all he thought about was getting to the girl. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She can't just try to run out the clock on this guy; there are still some explosives that need disarming. But she can't come in close, for reasons of possibly fatal contact poison. ...she starts shooting at specific points on the floor between them. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Bea is fairly vexed that her shooting-out-the-floor gambit is foiled by his turning and running, but at least she can give chase. He can't get too much demolitions-work done with someone shooting at his back. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
