"I'll consider it" is as good as yes in his books
It was a slow day today, summer and all meant he had no school or classes, and since it was a weekend...no work at that internship he'd gotten for the summer either. But he did remember a certain secluded scientist mutant who'd agreed to go out for pizza one day. Sure he'd seemed a little...unenthusiastic about the whole thing but hey, the guy needed to get out sometime.

So Vlad got dressed to go outside, grabbed car keys and went off to go find Fred, wherever the guy might be.

Vlad looked thoughtful for a moment. "Maybe, maybe not. Nature vs. nurture, the whole debate there. But I mean...does it really matter? Long as it's your decision that you made to like something, and not someone else telling you that you should then shouldn't that be enough? I mean sure, we all like some of the things our parents liked, and that may be down to nature or nurture but either way it doesn't invalidate your likes. You like what you like, so what if your relations do too."

"And you do have preferences and interests and such Fred. I mean, you must like Dante's stuff enough, or Virgil's, enough to put it in your fake name. And the Stokes evolution trial, there that's related to your interests. I don't know if it's unique, but it's still you, you know?"

	Vlad gives Fred a smile. "Food for thought to go with the food for your stomach?" As if on cue the waitress arrives with the drinks and cheese sticks, telling them the pizza will be there shortly. 	Not exactly something he'd have guessed. Chess maybe. But hey,at least he was getting somewhere. "Well that's not hard to arrange, I know there's checkers sets in the mansion.
