Tuesday mid-morning, a little woman entered RenTech offices pulling a small two wheeled cart behind her. She provided security with her identification and shamelessly used her son's name to be ushered to Anya Stark's office.

As the executive assistant's desk was currently unattended, she proceeded to let herself into Ms. Stark's office and smile happily at the president and CEO. "Oh, you are so beautiful, more beautiful than the newspapers say, but too thin. So thin. You need to eat."

Of course, the girl had servants. Maria had to stop thinking that Suntano's employer was a regular person, but she couldn't help it. Anya was such a friendly, lovely girl.

She bustled around the kitchen, pouring iced tea for Anya, putting the vegetables in a sink full of cool water to wash before she began chopping, and gathering the ingredients to make tortillas.

"It is easy, but you watch and tell me if you would like to try. Fresh tortillas won the heart of the most handsome boy in the neighborhood when I was girl. Mama always said it was a useful skill to have." She smiled gaily at Anya. "He was very handsome."

	"Twenty three years." Maria found the chopping board and selected a knife. "They were good years, but we didn't until it was too late that he was sick." She smiled at Anya, a little sad but content.
