Jenny, I've been thinking a lot about the night with the blackout. The stuff before the wraith, I mean. You really made me feel comfortable with myself; and frankly, that's not something that's been familiar to me in a while. I've got a dinner reservation at Slices of Heaven for 8 this Friday. I'd like to see you there, if you're interested.

	"Rob is a SHIELD agent based in New York. Nearby is a flexible concept with him. He can and does show up to check on me at any time. He's that sort of older brother. Jenny smiled with the tolerance only a younger sister could have. "He practically raised me. Our parents were killed when I was very young and we're all the family we have in the world. He actually considers his job to be safer than my Champions membership. If he only knew how little we actually do until it's time to do something."

Jenny's eyes fixed on a point to the right of Vincent's head. "Thank you. I don't actually remember them. It... well, it happens." She said the words by rote, as if someone had started a recording.

Then she blinked and smiled, the vague look gone. She thanked him for the serving their dinner, not really minding that he did so. Manners appeared to be very important to him, his own especially, and she wasn't above appreciating courtesy in another person.

"Yes, we're very relaxed, but I imagine it's more to do with the lack of metahuman problems. We assist the police on occasion, but you just don't get the mutant or metahuman villains here. It's more supernatural in nature when it happens. Like the spirit that followed us home the night of the blackout."
