Moonlight Sonata
It had been almost a week since Dolemeck and Tyler had moved into their new apartment complex. Being as it was already furnished, they did not need to bring in any of the furniture from the old place, or do much decorating. But that did not stop Dolemeck from working on his own room. He had put up pictures of the people who mattered to him on the walls. His parents, his cousin Derek Woo, a picture of himself and Argo on a boat, and even a picture of himself and Tyler in Germany, with their tour guide Gerta.

Just a she was about to put up another picture, there was a knock on the door of the apartment. He placed down the picture frame that was in his hands and went to go open the door.

Jo pours him the shot, then puts the wedge and the glass into each of his hands.

"It's just... Papa and I were in the middle of nowhere, and I went to just a normal, out of the way music school... all that Avengers and mutant and aliens stuff, it was always just something... 'over there'. Like I was watching a Simon Williams movie or something.

I went most of my life never knowing he'd been Ghost Rider, never thinking vampires and demon or monster hunters and werewolves were real things. I am... an artist, a waitress, a shop clerk... and... and..."

She runs both hands through her hair. "And I'm something else. I can't get through more than a brief aria without feeling it just start to creep in. To feel my skin turning white, to feel myself about to start towering over the height I should be.. like there's no blood left in my veins and there's something else there instead.

Just... I can deal with you and Greg being what you are, I can deal with Dolemeck telling me he's what he is, and I can even fight and fight and win and kill against the things we face, but... then he tells me he's dating a devil, and shows me pictures of her... and... I don't know. Somehow it just... that was the last thing. That was where the nice comfy little delusion I'd built up for myself just... couldn't take any more weight. it just... it became real."

She makes her hands expand outwards. "Boom."

	Part of him thought about asking her to remove her hand, but another part of him, the same part that had him staring at her earlier, told him it felt very nice. Oh what the hell. 	"'The Black Marvel Strikes'. Film about an old timey crimefighter, from the 40's or 50's I think. One of the first costumes to get a movie made about him, although he kind of got lost in the shuffle of all the Captain America and the Invaders propaganda films that got rolled out.
