Invasion of Seattle
Ophelia had planned this thoroughly ever since her surviving children had told her of what had befallen the others in the city. She could see that with this group of supernatural hunters, as well as the arrival of the vampire lord, Theodoric, that Seattle was about to become an important fixture in underworld politics. Whoever held it would be in a position of tremendous power. Though perhaps more importantly, the men her servants had described could potentially create a brood of daughters the likes of which neither vampire or human could stand against. Yes..this was far too tempting an opportunity to pass up.

It started early into the night, and happened almost as soon as it had begun. Ophelia had a small of followers infiltrate Seattle bit by bit until they were indistinguishable from the mortal population. At the exact moment, several known vampire lairs were suddenly attacked by disguised tryks. The smaller populations were slaughtered instantly in the initial surprise while the larger ones were decimated and trying to hold back the attackers in the boughs of their lairs with superior firepower.

In the news it looked almost as if some kind of gang warfare was going on. A nightclub, an office building, and a motel. Police had the areas cordoned off, though all attempts for them to enter the buildings had resulted in bloody deaths.

Jo was having none of this whole 'restraint' business. She had fully 'charged' before going in, and was playing her signature piece, The Devil's Trill. She marches in, playing her violin with the confidence of someone advancing on the front lines with a flamethrower.

If it lived, could hear her music, and she wanted it to suffer, it would feel pain.

And several tryks did indeed start shrieking upon hearing the music. However, that didn't stop a pair from advancing on her with claws erupting from their palms.

She pivots sharply on one heel, fangs of her own bared as she gives a hideous laugh. She shifts her grip and draws the bow across the strings sharply. There's a sucking sound in the air as it compresses into a blade that flies at the tryks' necks.

One tryk dodged just in time, but the other was decapitated with a sickening sound of flesh ripping. The surviving tryk, seeing the instrument for the danger it was, moved to cut it half.

A mad gleam shines in her eyes, as the tune changes. The headless body abruptly lurches upright again, as if pulled by invisible strings, and tackles the remaining tryk as Jo flits a step back.

"What is this!?" The tryk male cried out as his decapitated comrade tackled him. As Jo was focused on the males, a pair of disembodied, winged, and clawed arms slithered behind before abruptly moving to grab her neck in a move that could easily break a human's neck.

"You stole something that belongs to us... WHERE. ARE. THEY?" She snarls, moving in to strike again as the corpse-puppet grapples the still living one.

The arms catch her off guard, and she stumbles, her music ceasing for a moment. She apparently resists having her neck broken, however.

The male tryk takes advantage of Jo's sudden distraction, wrenching free from the corpse and once more moves to destroy her instrument.

"Keep your filthy appendages to yourselves, lest I relieve you of them, scum!" Jo pulls away, lashing out with a brutal kick. As the power of her music fades further, in keeping with the expense of it and her playing ceasing, her transformation diminishes. Less unholy force, but more brutality.
