Fred winced at the blows the others took from Eachel, but he remained hidden. Pragmatism dictated that he wait for the moment. Vlad seemed to be trying t get Rachel's attention. That could perhaps give Fred his opportunity. He tensed his legs up, ready to leap at the appropriate time.
