The Brink
Vincent woke up, and instinctively smiled, already knowing what day it was without having to think twice. It was his birthday. More than that, it was his eighteenth birthday. Perhaps not so great a deal in the Asgard of his birth ~~or the Latveria of his father~~, but here, in the country he had made his home, it meant a great deal. He had high hopes for the day.

There had been that miserable little worm of a thought that Kristoff was no longer legally expected to look after him, but that was routinely quashed each time it came up.

Well now, this was quite cozy!

"I made certain to clear my schedule just for you," she told him. She picked up the package she had brought down with her, and dropped when she was pulled down, offering it to him.

"This is for now, and I have another present for you for later," she said.

The package would contain a pair of action figures, much like the ones that could be found in the gift shop, of herself and Vincent. The difference being in this case, that the two toys had been modified to be able to hold hands.

	Vincent smiled, examining the smoothness of the modifications. "Excellent work, sweetness." He was in the process of testing various terms of endearment for her. This one was... okay, for now. 	"Woe unto me then." Vincent lets out an overly loud sigh and finishes his breakfast, kissing Andrea after wiping his mouth. "Being quite honest with you dear, my attention is pretty much going to be anchored to the book Kristoff gave me, so it's probably just as well your other gift is waiting until later."
