His armor has been polished to a proper gleam. If he is going to go into battle alongside the scions of the mortal heroes his father did speak so fondly of, Argo was going to look only his best.
"Fear not," he told them all, "the Son of Hercules stands with thee. By mine oath, I shalt do mine best to keep thee all from undue harm."
