Mason had spent most of the afternoon on the phone with his parents, talking about highlights of the previous year, and spending a particular amount of time talking to just his Dad about his date with Marrina.
As the evening rolls around, he joins the rest of the team in the rec area, wishing them all a pre-emptive happy New Year.
