Daniel is still playing babysitter for Zoey and Scotty when midnight rolls around, keeping them wired enough on candy and sparkling cider to keep them awake to see in the New Year.
As the countdown starts, he lifts his glass of cider and teaches them the 'proper' toast to ring in the new year.
"Here's to you, an' here's to me,
Friends for life we'll always be,
But if we find we disagree,
Well, screw you then,
Here's to me."
