Shit! Why the heck wasn't she more powerful, like Mom or Rae or Nate...?
Her TK shield pushed the gas aside, but she had nothing to do but try and throw herself out of the way of the nails, receiving a shallow, but painful cut across her bare midriff. It broke her concentration and she fell to her knees.
