He leans his head forward, nuzzling her face and neck with his own, small gestures which should be comforting even in her current state, trying to help put her at peace while she concentrates.
As soon as she visualizes it, he begins working at its edges, trying to disconnect the symbol with her psyche, slowly and carefully.
