Lavinia really didn't understand all the drama that people invited into their lives. Merlin was always making himself miserable to try and please other people who hadn't ever really asked to be pleased in the first place, and she was getting tired of his hurt puppy face everytime Draco was around. Which was rather a lot. Their families were close and Merlin and Draco were supposed to be close and she was tired of wounded Merlin.

She walked into her brother's room, sitting on his bed. "Draco and his boyfriend broke up," she said. This had to cheer Merlin up. "They had a big, public falling out."

Merlin wiped at his eyes and sighed softly. Draco was too observant for his own good. "No. You felt so good, Draco. You felt so perfect. I just... Fuck."

He gave him a desperate look. "I'm just worried. I'm thinking too much. I can't handle you leaving me again." He told him quietly. "I want you so much, but I'm not ready to come out and you just... You won't wait for me."

	"Oh." Draco lay down beside Merlin, kissing the other boy's chest. "Can you promise me that one day I'll be able to tell people that I'm with you?" he asked, voice soft. He looked up at Merlin. 	Merlin looked down at Draco and nodded. "It's why I begged you to not leave me the first time. I can't do this on my own. I'll never be sure enough of myself to just.. To be me." He shook his head. "I'm back now," Draco said, pressing a kiss to Merlin's lips. "It can be worth the effort now." He slid a hand along Merlin's chest and smiled at him. "The past is the past now. I can just tell everyone I'm taking a break from dating for a little while."

He brushed their lips together again. "And you'll be mine and I'll be yours and one day we'll let everyone know about us."
