Christina laughed. "We're not supposed to talk in class, Cissa. That's the point," she said. "He was threatening to take away everyone's phones, so I consider this a win. Did you know he's not even that old? I thought he'd be ancient. He's hot in a daddy issues kind of way."

Narcissa shrieked when Evan pushed his hard on against her, pushing him away and squirming to the edge of his lap, off his crotch. "You really are a big, gay pervert," she told him, laughing. "Oh my God, I don't need to feel that."

"At least she thinks you're big," Christina told her brother, shaking her head and grinning at them. "If you don't need to feel it, you should probably get out of his lap, Cissy."

Narcissa slid out of Evan's lap, back into her seat, and frowned at the question as she tried to catch her breath. "He -- we've kissed," she said. She looked down at her hands. "I don't know what you mean really kissed. We haven't... had a chance to snog yet."

Christina frowned at that. "Sure you have," she said. "Everyone was snogging at Evan's party. He was there. You could have snogged too."

Narcissa felt flushed when Evan pulled away from her. It did feel nice to kiss him. Different from the kisses she usually shared with Lucius, when he kissed her at all. But he was her fiance. "Lucius is just old fashioned," she said, pushing her hair behind her ear.

Narcissa pouted at Evan. "I feel like you pity me," she said. "You're taking me out on a date because you feel bad about my fiance never really spending time with me. He takes me to all his work functions."

Christina wrinkled her nose at that. "I could take you on a better date than that, Cissa. Go with Evan. He's not a gentleman. You'll have fun with him."

"Well..." Narcissa chewed on her bottom lip for a moment, then rolled her eyes. "Okay, fine, but only so you two stop bugging me about Lucius."

	Evan was dressed relatively nice. He was wearing a pair of skinny jeans, a tee and a blazer, which was classy in his book. He'd even combed his hair, which almost never happened. Narcissa was not expecting Evan to actually put that much effort into the date. She assumed it would mostly be the two of them hanging out without Christina around, but when she opened the door to the house he was dressed up and he'd combed his hair and had flowers.

She blinked at him in surprise. "I'm glad I changed my dress," she said, laughing and looking down at herself. "You look lovely. Did you buy me flowers?"

Narcissa took the flowers from Evan and laughed. "They're beautiful," she said, sniffing them. "You don't need to meet my parents. They'd just wonder why I'm going on a date with my gay best friend when I'm engaged."

She leaned in and kissed Evan's cheek, then put the flowers down on the table beside the door before stepping outside with him. Narcissa wrapped an arm around one of Evan's. "Where are we having dinner?"

Narcissa laughed, doing up her seatbelt. "I thought Christina said you weren't a gentleman, but you're being very gallant so far. Letting me choose the music and everything. I don't know if you approve of my musical tastes."

She switched the radio to a top 40 station. "I guess going someplace normal will be nice, instead of always going to fancy restaurants and big parties. I don't know. I know I'm arm candy, but it would be nice to be able to actually talk on a date."
