Evan was kind of annoyed with his sister, if he was being honest. She'd decided to go on some kind of secret mission the same weekend they'd decided to go camping. So to keep the evening nice, he invited the only straight boy he knew that was actually straight. He was waiting for Lucius and Narcissa to show up at the camp meeting spot, leaning against the camper he'd borrowed from his parents.

"So... Camping." Thorfin asked with a snort, looking at Evan. "I'm actually really good at camping. But.. You want me to flirt with a girl whose fiance will be here?"

"That's the idea." Evan told him, nodding. "Flirt with her and piss him off. It'll be great fun. There they are."

"It's nice to meet you, Narcissa." Thor told her with a grin, bringing her hand to his lips to kiss the back of it. He let go of it gently, reluctantly. "Evan told me you were gorgeous, but I had no idea. I'm glad he gave me permission to hit on you. Something about how your boyfriend is gay."

"Are you an idiot? Coke is for idiots." Evan informed him, shaking his head. "Your body is important. It's the only one you have. Fuck it up too much and not even Daddy can buy you a new one."

Narcissa laughed at that, biting back the impulse to deny Lucius being gay. "Evan thinks he is and Evan's pretty good at detecting that kind of thing," she said, looking over her shoulder at Lucius and Evan, bickering by their bags. "Evan told you you could hit on me?" She smiled at Thorfin. "I assumed you were here for him."

Lucius snorted. "So I'm guessing it's a good thing I didn't bring coke. Just booze and pot." He raised an eyebrow at Evan. "Is your body too much of a temple for pot, or is the fact that it grows from the ground natural enough for you?"

"No. He brought me along for you." Thor told her, shaking his head. "Definitely here for you. I'm completely hetero. He's also set up this bunk bed thing in this camper for us. He's going to drive us down the trails and then off the road a bit."

"Depends where you get your pot." Evan told him with a shrug, then lifted his shirt. "You've seen my abs. I keep myself in tip top condition."

"Well, good," Narcissa said, smiling at Thor and looking him over approvingly. Evan had done well, picking him out for her. He was pretty. "This weekend is shaping out to be a lot more fun than I thought it would be. I'm almost glad Christina cancelled now. It'll give us a better chance to get to know each other."

Lucius took a moment to admire Evan's abs, which were very nicely kept up. "I assume you do it all without a personal trainer too," he said, nodding in approval. "I'm rich, Evan. And I have abs too. My pot is fine. It's not sprayed with any weird chemicals. Besides, even as her friend you have to admit that seeing Narcissa off her tits would be amusing. This is the only way we're going to get through camping without a fight."

"Of course it does." Thor assured her, looking her over carefully. "Getting to know each other will be half the fun. Do you want to go into the camper now?"

"I've seen Narcissa off her tits. I've known her a long time." Evan pointed out, rolling his eyes. "Which reminds me. She's staying in the camper. There's an actual bed in there for her. You and I are sharing a tent."

"Okay," Narcissa agreed. "I'm so glad I get to sleep on a bed and not on the ground. I'm not really a camping sort of person. I do it because Evan and Christina like it and I like roasted marshmallows." She opened the door to the camper and climbed inside.

Lucius made a bit of a face at the idea of sleeping in a tent when there was a bed available, but he nodded. "I suppose that's fair. She is the woman." He glanced at the boy disappearing into the camper with Narcissa. "Is he your solution to me?"

"You don't look like a camping sort of person." Thor admitted with a grin. "My parents take us fishing a lot. And I've camped when there was snow on the ground. So, this should be an improvement. Besides, we've got access to the fridge and toilet at night."

"If by that you mean he's here for Narcissa, then yes." Evan told him with a shrug. "If you're going to have your boyfriends it's only fair she gets to have hers."

"Sounds much better than freezing in a tent, worrying about getting eaten," Narcissa said, smiling back at Thor. She looked around the camper, then walked to the bunk beds, sitting on the bottom one. "Do you want top or bottom?" she asked. "I'll take either."

"I don't have boyfriends. Boyfriends implies that I'm dating them," Lucius pointed out, looking down at Evan. "I'm sure I would date someone, if they were interesting enough, but I've yet to meet that person." He picked up his and Narcissa's things. "Are we setting up here?"

"You shouldn't have to climb. You can have bottom." Thor told her as he looked up at the top bunk, then tossed some of his pillows up there. "I don't snore, so that will be a good thing for you. I can cook. How do you like your eggs?"

"No. We're getting on the camper and I'm driving out." Evan told him. "That's why they're on it already. Come on." He walked over and opened the storage part of the camper so Lucius could put his thing beside theirs, then he closed it and climbed on the bus. "You can sit up front with me while I drive."

"Poached, usually," Narcissa said. She looked around the camper. "But we're already roughing it, so I'll just take them scrambled. I can't cook at all. I don't know if Evan told you what my family's like. They whole... thing with Lucius is basically an arranged marriage."

"So your friend can flirt with Narcissa some more." Lucius tossed his things in with Evan's and his friends, then got in the passenger side. "I don't resent it, you know. You bringing in someone else to shag her. She's going to be my wife, but she's a decent girl. She's free to make herself happy."

"I can try to poach... if by poaching you mean putting it in boiling water for a while." Thor admitted with a grin, then shrugged. "Yeah. It's kind of shit. I think you'd be better off marrying someone who will actually love you."

Evan looked at Lucius. "I think it makes it horrible for her that she doesn't have any other choice but to marry you. If she says no, there's a good chance her family will disown her."

"Maybe I'll stick to scrambled for now," Narcissa said, laughing. She pursed her lips when Thor said she should be marrying someone who actually loved her, then shrugged. "My family really wants this. They already disowned one of my sisters. I don't want to marry someone who doesn't love me, but I love my family. I know why they think Lucius will be good for me. He's rich. They want me taken care of. Maybe Lucius and I will come to an understanding eventually."

"And what about me?" Lucius asked, looking at Evan. "I'm my father's only child. It's my responsibility to have an heir to continue our bloodline. The fact that I'm gay can't factor into that. I'm not going to lock Narcissa up in a tower. If she was my wife, she's have money and a big house. She could have boyfriends. Go shopping whenever she wanted. Have parties. I'd give her a lot more freedom than most husbands."

"We'll. We'll see how you like me this weekend." Thor told her with a grin. "I may not be as rich as Lucius Malfoy, nor have the prestige of his family, but I have a lot of money. Well, my parents do. But, it'll be mine one day."

"It's not about having freedom and having money." Evan told him. "Narcissa is a princess and she reads a lot of books about falling in love and getting married and having a perfect family. That's what she's looking for. You can't provide that for her. At the end of the day, all the money in the world won't make up for her not finding her prince charming."

Narcissa raised an eyebrow at that. "Is your family like Evan's?" she asked. "It would make sense that you two are friends. I don't know. It's not all about money to me. Just my parents. I just want to fall in love with someone and have them like me back."

"Prince charming doesn't exist," Lucius said, rolling his eyes at Evan. "I realize she's young, but the sooner she learns that, the better off she'll be in life. Nobody is going to come and sweep her off her feet. Certainly not some public schooled boy who was put up to hitting on her. I'm sure he's happy about it. She's very pretty. But he's not thinking about romance and marriage, he's thinking about sex. Narcissa's deluded."

"We don't own vineyards. We own properties and buildings." Thor told her, shaking his head. "Things like that. We're not fancy people, however. We don't live snobby lives. And I chose not to go to private school."

"Prince Charming exists for some people. You are clearly not Prince Charming." Evan shook his head. "I don't understand how you can be so bitter and such a prick. Is it because you're rich?"

"I like my school," Narcissa told Thor. "I mean, I guess it would have been nice to go to a school that had boys too, but I don't think I'd survive public school. Everyone just... doing whatever they wanted all the time. It sounds like anarchy."

"What, being rich makes people bitter pricks? Being rich gets you everything you could ever want, Evan. It has nothing to do with being rich." Lucius rolled his window down, pulling out a pack of fags and lighting one. "Being bitter and being a prick usually go together. Does it really matter why? It's just who I am."

Narcissa shook his head. "I like professors giving a fuck. I like everyone having an understanding of how the system works. Professors make sure there's no violence and not too much intimidation, but let us have our space to gossip. Except for Christina. The Headmaster took away her phone because our English teacher doesn't like her very much and sent her to the office for texting."

"You don't even really know me, Rosier." Lucius frowned at Evan, taking a drag from his cigarette and blowing the smoke out of the window. "You've met me a handful of times, and the first time we met we spent more time getting off than talking. The second time, you punched me. Now this." Lucius gestured around the cab. "I'm taking care of my family. I understand my responsibility to them. That's all."

"I'm sorry. You're so pretty I'm getting distracted by it." Thor told her, shaking his head to stop looking at her. "What about your English professor?"

Evan looked at him for a moment. "I know you're okay ruining someone else's dreams to make sure your parents think you're something you're not. And I've heard rumours about you. Not to mention you do cocaine. And you sucked me off the moment you met me. You have no intention on ever finding a boyfriend and that's pretty much the only thing I'm looking for."
