Tom had never been happy with a woman before. Christina was the first person he'd ever even liked. So, he was doing his best to make sure he didn't mess what they had up. He was a little concerned about their age difference, but it seemed as though it really didn't bother her. And they'd been together a couple of months. So.

He'd decided it was time to bring her home to his own house. He took a deep breath and turned the key to his place. "I even cleaned it up a bit."

	Christina loved him. They hadn't said it yet, but there it was. She loved him. Tom felt slightly shocked by her words, but was not at all turned off by it. 	Christina laughed against Tom's lips. She hadn't really thought about her words before she said them, but she was more than happy to hear Tom felt the same way. "Best Christmas ever and it's not even Christmas yet." She looked back at the decorations Tom had bought for their tree. "We should put everything on the tree so we can admire it properly." 	Tom held out the long box to Christina with a small smile as they sat together on his sofa. It was a diamond bracelet, small, but pretty. He didn't want her to feel too bad about the presents that he'd gotten her. "Happy Christmas, Chris." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Christina took the box from Tom, smiling up at him and then unwrapping it quickly. She knew it was going to be jewelry. She was just hoping it wasn't too much. But Christina gasped when she opened the box and saw the bracelet, staring down at it.

"This... God, Tom." Those were definitely diamonds. She looked up at him, leaning in for a kiss. "Thank you," she said, touching his cheek. "It's beautiful. I love it." She took it out of the box, holding it out to him. "Will you help me put it on?"

	Tom helped her clasp the bracelet, running his fingers over it gently. "I just thought you deserved something as beautiful as you. I don't think it really compares, however." He kissed her deeply. Christina laughed at that, brushing her fingers over the bracelet. "I don't know. This is so pretty. I might have at least heard you out before I panicked."

She kissed him again and then took out the small gift she'd gotten for him. Elegant silver cufflinks and a matching tie clip with Love Chris engraved on the back. They were nice, and she thought the engraving was subtle enough that it wouldn't matter if it fell off somewhere and someone else saw it. They'd just maybe think Tom was gay, but still. It was diamonds, and it had been all she could afford. She was nervous. "This is for you," she said. "Happy Christmas, Tom."

	Tom took the gift she'd gotten him and opened it. A smile spread across his face as he took them out and examined them. He hadn't thought she could get him something this nice. "I love them." "I thought Chris would be less obvious than Christina, but it did also occur to me that people might misinterpret it and think you were gay." She smiled at him.
