"What exactly is it that you're dragging me to?" Elodie asked as Xavier dragged her along the streets of London. She had a job interview the next morning and she really didn't want to have to deal with being tired and having bags under her eyes. Even if her boobs were more than enough to qualify her to work at Bubbles. She looked him over carefully.

"All you're telling me is it's a show." Elodie whined. "You're being very elusive about all of this. Come on. Tell me."

Ana looked up -- way up -- at Xavier, taking another sip of her coffee and noting the way Caspar took his seat. "It's nice to meet you," she said. "Do you fuck a lot of boys like Caspar?"

Xavier blinked at Ana for a moment. "It's, uh, nice to meet you too," he told her. He glanced at Caspar as he pulled his shirt on. "I guess you're the protective best friend type? My friend Elodie is kind of like that too."

"I take it black," Xavier said, glancing at Caspar and smiling. "Thanks, Cas." He reached across the table and brushed his fingers against Caspar's hand. This made him a terrible, awful person. At least he'd only ever cheated once, right? He wasn't as bad as his father.

"You still didn't answer my question," Ana said, giving Xavier a stern look. "Don't try and avoid it by being cute with Caspar in front of me. He was a virgin before last night."

That got Xavier's attention. He stared at Ana for a long moment, then glanced at Caspar. "You... really?" He felt ashamed of himself. He'd been so rough and Caspar had been... Shit. "Are you okay?" he asked, giving him a concerned look.

Caspar had never been so embarrassed in his life. And he'd lived with Ana for most of it. His face red, Caspar turned and put the coffee in front of Xavier, frowning at him. He could get through this.

"I'm not a porcelain doll. I'm perfectly fine. Perhaps Ana should learn to shut her fucking mouth." Caspar gave her a look that clearly showed how angry he was with her. "I enjoyed it."

Ana refused to be cowed by the glare Caspar shot at her. Xavier should know that he'd taken Caspar's virginity and that Ana expected him to dump his boyfriend and be Caspar's one true love now. "Ana doesn't need to shut her mouth. Ana is just looking out for Caspar," she said.

Xavier still felt awful, even if this was probably worse for Caspar. He looked mortified. "I enjoyed it too," he said, reaching out and linking their fingers together. "I didn't realize. I would have been gentler."

"If I brought home an old friend who had a boyfriend and then slept with him, I'd hope you would," Ana told Caspar. "It's important, you know. Even if you want to pretend it's not." She picked up her cup of coffee and stood. "You two should talk."

Xavier felt like he'd been thoroughly scolded for sleeping with Caspar. He looked up at the other boy and nodded, although he wasn't sure he agreed with him. "Right," he said. "If you're sure. I'm just glad you liked it."

"You weren't supposed to find out about it." Caspar told him quietly as he looked at Xavier. He felt so mortified. He wanted to kill Ana. Strangle her and make her choke.

"I'm sorry. I waited a long time to find the right person and..." Caspar bit his bottom lip. "When I saw you again, I just... I wanted it to be you. So badly. And then you said you had a boyfriend and it took me being drunk to get the courage to go for it."

Xavier ran a hand through his hair and took a sip of his coffee, trying to figure out what he should say to Caspar. "I'm sorry," he said, eventually. "Not that we had sex. I really liked it. I really missed you and it was... it was amazing." He looked up at him, smiling a little.

"But..." His smile faded. "I do have a boyfriend. Which makes this complicated. I really care about him, Caspar. But I really... honestly, I started dating him because he kind of looked like I thought you might look."

	Caspar sighed to himself and shook his head. "It's fine, Xavier. I know that you have a boyfriend and I feel guilty about what we did. That doesn't mean I liked it any less. But..." He shrugged. Caspar probably had a point, but Xavier didn't want to give up seeing him. "I hate that idea," he admitted. "I just got you back. I don't want to lose you again so soon. You mean too much to me."

He reached out, taking Caspar's hand in his. "Do you think we could try?" Xavier asked. "I know it'll be hard, but before we cut each other off completely, let's just... attempt being friends again."

	If he was being honest, Caspar hated the idea as well. He didn't want to be away from Xavier either, but he didn't think they'd last very long at not having sex. Xavier had kind of been what he'd wanted all along. But, he nodded. "Okay." He told him quietly and then let out a sigh. "We'll try being friends and if it doesn't work out, we'll give up." Caspar didn't seem very enthusiastic about their plan, but Xavier nodded in agreement. They could handle this. "Good," he said. This was going to be hard, but they could make this work.

He smiled at Caspar. "I'm sorry. That this is the way things are going. But I think we'll be okay. I think we're going to make this work." He was going to have to tell Elodie he'd done exactly what she'd told him not to do.
