Scorpius left Rex's flat feeling pretty stable. He got into a cab and then made the mistake of checking his phone, of seeing all the texts from Albus and watching the video of him singing, and had fallen apart again and terrified the cab driver. Scorpius stopped at his dads' place to change clothes and then got another ride to the coffee shop where they were supposed to meet, careful to avoid his parents or Martin or his sisters, who would probably have seen the article about him and Rex.

He still felt shakey and he wasn't at all sure what was going to come of him and Albus meeting, now that Albus knew everything. He could text that he loved Scorpius all he wanted, but to Scorpius it was hard to believe he didn't mean as a friend. He needed that wall of protection up or hope would creep in and destroy him. He found Albus sitting with two coffees and slid into the seat across from him, wrapping his arms around himself and sort of wishing he had Cepheus there for added protection. "Hey."

"It's just until after fashion week," Scorpius said, shaking his head. "And it's just five pounds. I'll be fine. At the end of the month, we'll go out and get fish and chips or something. It's a camera thing. It adds weight."

He looked over the menus, picking out Japanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese. "Sushi is fine as long as I don't get anything with mayonnaise in it. And then soup is always good. The calories are pretty low, but it fills you up."

	Albus looked down at the menus and then held the phone out to Scorpius. "You order whatever you want. You know what I'll eat and what I won't." He told him, then sat down on the couch. Scorpius called the Japanese place, ordering them some food and then came back to Albus and sat beside him on the couch. "I don't know what I want to do," he said. "Lots of people talk about being doctors when they're kids. I'm not like you or Lavinia. I never really had one goal in mind growing up."

He shrugged, reaching up to play with Albus's hair. "I like being a model for now. Maybe I'll try and take some classes somewhere next semester. See if I can find something I'm interested in. My dad's going crazy with me and Cepheus both taking a year off from school. And Phe not wanting to go at all."

"I want to do something," Scorpius said firmly. "I wouldn't want to just... sit around and shop and go to fundraisers and stuff like my father does. I know there's technically more to it, but I feel like I'd just be bored."

He kissed Albus again. "Don't worry about me. I've got modelling for now, right? I'll figure the other stuff out later." Scorpius ran his fingers through Albus's hair. "Maybe I'll work in a coffee shop."

Scorpius laughed, looking up at Albus and leaning up for another kiss. "What's wrong with working in a coffee shop? I like coffee a lot. It would be something that went with my interests."

He reached up, playing with Albus's hair some more. He liked his curls a lot and he was going to take advantage of finally being able to touch them like he'd always wanted to. "What do you suggest?"

Scorpius laughed, making a soft sound at the feeling of Albus's hips against his and his lips on his neck. "I think I could be happy being your lover for a living," he said, pressing back against him. "I was offered a chance to do porn, but I think I'd be too embarrassed to do anything like that."

He thought about buying a coffee shop for a moment, then shook his head. "Cepheus is the one who wants a business. I have plenty of time to figure out what I want to be after I finish modelling, don't I? I can probably do it until I'm in my thirties, if my parents genetics are anything to go by."

Scorpius laughed, pulling his shirt the rest of the way off so Albus could have better access to his skin. "All right, no porn," he agreed. "I don't want to be that close to anyone buy you ever again anyway."

He pushed his hands under Albus's shirt. "Cepheus is good at design. We could let him help us with our flat. When things don't work out, it might help him cope." Scorpius kissed Albus again. "We only need one bedroom now."

Scorpius watched Albus touching himself for a moment and then made a soft sound, pushing him back against the couch and crawling on top of him. "That's a good point," he said, smiling. "We can just get rid of your erection and then you'll be able to answer the door."

Scorpius kissed down Albus's neck, undoing his trousers and pulling him out to stroke him. His teeth scraped over Albus's skin, leaving a faint mark behind. "Mine."
