For someone who really didn't like the thought of ever appearing on Gossip Girl, Lucy spent a lot of time reading it. It was hard not to be aware of it when her brother and his friends were on the site almost constantly and the rest of the school was obsessed with it. At least, that was what she told herself. It wasn't her fault and she definitely wasn't buying in.

Lucy fell onto a bench next to Neville outside the school, handing him a coffee. "So, I hate to be the one to break it to you, if I am, but you lost your Gossip Girl v-card last night. You and Daphne kissed in front of someone with a cell phone who knew who she was."

Mason nodded. He hadn't been comfirmed of whether or not Lucy was actually underage, but he knew now. And he wasn't sure that changed anything. He rested a hand on her thigh and kissed her again.

"Well. Just call me Pedo." He told her with a laugh. "As long as you don't get me put in jail."

"Oh, whatever. You're not a pedo. I'm only a year from being legal," Lucy said, shaking her head. "I don't want you in jail. Does that... change anything for you?"

She looked up at him, putting a hand over the one on her thigh. "Because I really like you and it's only been a little while, but so far I'm really happy being your girlfriend."

"No. It doesn't change anything." Mason squeezed her thigh, but kept his hand where it was, not going higher. He smiled at her, then brushed his lips briefly against hers, letting out a content sigh.

"It doesn't matter, okay?" Mason kissed her forehead, turning as their food arrived. "But, I will grill you about your homework."

Lucy laughed, picking up her sandwich and biting into it. "That sounds horrible enough," she said, shaking her head. "Narcissa is so picky already. All because she's friends with your dad. Now I'm dating the son of a professor. Bad choices."

She nudged Mason's foot with her own. "Thank you. This place is great. This sandwich is amazing."

"I don't think I'm a bad choice. I think, if anything, being the son of a professor makes me a good choice." Mason pointed out, looking at her. "And I'm going to be famous one day. I'm a catch."

Mason smiled at her thank you. "Well. Thank you for skipping school to hang out with me."

"I'm going to be famous too," Lucy said, smiling at Mason. "Even if my band right now sucks and I need to find a new group to pair with. I think I'm going to finish high school before I do that and get too serious. I'm just practicing now."

She smiled back at him. "You're welcome. You're only here for a few days before you're gone again. What kind of girlfriend would I be if I didn't?" She took another bite of her sandwich.
