For someone who really didn't like the thought of ever appearing on Gossip Girl, Lucy spent a lot of time reading it. It was hard not to be aware of it when her brother and his friends were on the site almost constantly and the rest of the school was obsessed with it. At least, that was what she told herself. It wasn't her fault and she definitely wasn't buying in.

Lucy fell onto a bench next to Neville outside the school, handing him a coffee. "So, I hate to be the one to break it to you, if I am, but you lost your Gossip Girl v-card last night. You and Daphne kissed in front of someone with a cell phone who knew who she was."

	Neville glanced at Lucy for a moment, then at her phone. He really wasn't that bothered by it. He had a great girlfriend and she liked him. That's all he had to worry about. Gossip Girl wasn't a concern of his. "Doesn't matter." Neville told her, taking the coffee. "At least I have a girlfriend to kiss. You know?" (Reply to this)(Thread)

"That's true," Lucy agreed, taking a sip of her coffee. "Did I tell you I met a boy who took me on a date to a party at David Bowie's son's house? It was amazing. His name is Mason. He's on tour now, but we've been texting a bit. I'll see him again when he gets back, if he doesn't fall for some French girl in the mean time."

She looked up at Neville and grinned. "I'm happy you finally got your girl. And Daphne seems really happy about it too."

	"Does she?" Neville smiled at the thought of it. He'd always been worried that Daphne wasn't going to like him after a while. But, she was so sweet. He really didn't want to lose her. "Yeah. I mean, I'm not one of her closest friends, and the rest of Draco's friends all kind of exploded this week, but yeah, she seems happy and normal and sane." Lucy patted Neville's knee. "Good choices."

She hesitated for a moment. "He -- actually he's Professor Snape's son, but I didn't know that when we met. Not that it would have made a huge difference or anything. He's cool. So obviously he doesn't go here."

	"Yeah, Mason. He calls me Alice. We're going to have a tea party," Lucy said, smiling at Neville. "I'm kind of dirty too, you know. I don't want to do better right now. I like hanging out with him." "Fuck off. I don't exactly make fashion choices the people who read Gossip Girl are dying to emulate. And I definitely don't sleep with masseuses every day. Or in front of cameras." Lucy poked Neville's side. "I told you because you're my best mate."

She fiddled with her phone for a moment, then shrugged. "I don't know. Daphne likes the Gossip Girl attention, so you should take her someplace popular. Maybe one of the restaurants Thoreau's dad owns? You're friends with him now. He could probably get you a reservation."

	Lucy looked at Mason's watch too, then shrugged. "Let's go," she said. "I don't really need to be here for the rest of the day. I've just got History and English left, and my brother's sick so I can pretend I caught his cold." She kissed Mason again. "Eating and catching a film sounds nice. Are you taking me on a date?"
