Kit woke up wrapped around Albus, feeling warm and happy and content, but also sort of dreading today because as nice as it had been, staying with Albus, today was the day he had to leave and Scorpius was coming back. It was the day things got decided. He and Albus had fallen right back into doing everything the way they had before they broke up and today had the potential to be very painful.

He kissed Albus's forehead, then slid out of bed and walked to the kitchen, starting up the coffee machine to make them both a cup. Even if Albus decided their romantic relationship was over, they could always be friends, right? It would suck. A lot. At least at first. But it was doable. Kit fixed two cups of coffee when the pot finished brewing, then walked back over to Albus's bed and sat down next to him, kissing the corner of his mouth. "Coffee, sleeping beauty."

	"I don't even know. We could karaoke or dance together or something." Albus told him as he pulled the press off the bacon and flipped it over. "Whatever you want to do." He glanced at his phone when it beeped. "Scorpius just texted me. He's on his way home." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Kit looked down at Albus's phone. He wasn't sure he should be here when Scorpius got home, but he didn't want to leave either. "At least you know his phone works."

Kit pulled the pancakes out of the pan and put them on a plate. "I've missed hearing you sing." He chewed on his bottom lip for a moment, then put down his spatula and leaned over, kissing Albus passionately. This was something he'd missed even more.

	Albus made a surprised noise against Kit's lips. The sudden kiss made his heart speed up a little and he was left feeling breathless as he looked back at Kit. He kissed him again, pulling him close, his eyes closing as he ran his hand through Kit's hair. After a moment, he pulled back and looked at him, feeling so confused. What was he going to do? Kit was breathless and ruffled now too and he didn't regret it at all. Even if this was hard and confusing for Albus. Kit had had time to think about Albus cheating and he'd time alone with Albus to remind himself of the foundation their relationship was built on and he was willing to fight. "I love you."

Scorpius had regretted going to Paris almost as soon as he'd gotten off the train. He'd spent most of the trip missing Albus, combing through shops by his hotel to try and find a suitable gift to bring back home. Albus had missed their skype dates. Scorpius assumed he was mad about him leaving. Scorpius was also starving, so he'd picked up pastries and macarons and then fought himself the whole train trip back to London so that he and Albus could break his fashion week fast together.

Scorpius opened the door to the flat to the smell of pancakes. "Al --" He stopped. The smell of pancakes and the sight of Kit in their flat. Which was fine, right? Kit and Albus could be friends. "Kit," Scorpius said. "I didn't know you were visiting."

Albus tried not to look guilty as he turned to look at Scorpius. He was still hurt by Scorpius leaving him and now he was even more upset about him leaving. Because it gave him alone time with Kit. Alone time to remember all the things he'd loved about the other boy.

"He came over yesterday." Albus told him with a shrug. "We watched some movies. He's making breakfast." He frowned. "So glad you remember how to talk to me."
