"Are you trying to terrify me on purpose or is it just kind of happening?" Scorpius asked, eying the piles and piles of wedding... stuff that Cepheus had spread out over his and James's flat. Scorpius didn't have any work to do, so he'd shown up to try and help Cepheus get stuff together. Especially since he and Albus were engaged and eventually they were going to have to have a wedding too.

He set down the coffee and sweets he'd picked up on the way over next to Cepheus, then took a seat with him on the couch. "Like marriage isn't scary enough without all this... research and paperwork involved too."

	"I'm going to be a Potter." Cepheus shrugged, taking a bite of one of the chocolate cakes. He hummed softly. "This has a bit of orange in it and it's delicious." He picked up another of the plastic forks and took a sip of wine. He looked Scorpius over. "Do you want him to be Albus Severus Malfoy? His name kind of fits the Malfoy tradition." "The one I tried was mango," Scorpius said, then reached over to try the chocolate and orange cake. "God, this whole cake thing is amazing. And they just deliver them to your door. Do you know how many awesome bakeries there are in New York? I'm going to milk this wedding thing for all the cake I can."

He paused, wrinkling his nose when Cepheus said Albus's name aloud. "That... it horrible. Do you think Albus has ever actually said it out loud to himself? I should mention that to him."

"All of this is free. People are elated about the chance to cater a Malfoy-Potter wedding. Which is ridiculous." Cepheus laughed. "I mean, James is going to be super fit and famous for the rest of his life. I could do worse."

He took another bite of cake. "Do you think you'll be as famous in New York as you are here? Your modeling is taking off. Does that bother Albus?"

Scorpius laughed. "You and James are really good together," he said. "I know Lala's all sensitive and skeptical about both of us getting engaged, but you and James are great. And you're getting free cake."

He dug into another slice of cake and shook his head. "I think I got my photo snapped maybe once when I was living there before. There are tons of rich people in New York who everyone knows already. They don't care about Malfoys and Riddles." Scorpius snorted. "My modelling is steady. I don't know if it's taking off. Albus hasn't really said anything about it, but he knows I got upset with the way he acted about it before, so I don't know if he would."

"I think Lavinia is just worried that we're going to forget about her because we're going to be married and having families." Cepheus admitted, shaking his head. "She'll be fine after a while. She's got that boy now. Rex. Which is weird. Considering you shagged him too. Quite a thing you've got going there. Maybe I should shag Albus."

Cepheus leaned against the counter. "As long as the two of you are keeping each other happy. Suppose that's all that matters."

"Shut up." Scorpius kicked Cepheus lightly. "I can't be blamed for Rex. I shagged him before he and Lavinia even met. I'd also like to point out that I shagged everyone I've shagged besides Albus because I was miserable at the time."

He looked down at the cake he was eating. "We're happy. Albus has tons of rehearsals, but I've been going to visit him at school so we see each other a lot still. New York is going to be amazing. I just have to figure out what I want to study."

"I am not," Scorpius insisted, pouting at Cepheus for teasing him. "I lost my virginity like three months ago. It's only been three people. One more than you. And Bruno initiated the snogging because he felt bad for me."

He laughed, eating more cake. "I like Albus texting me all the time. It's nice to feel wanted. I'm sure you like James doing it. James probably sends you dirty texts. He seems like the type."

"Right, so we were both pathetic. You can't put all of it on me," Scorpius said, smiling at Cepheus. "It doesn't matter anymore. We're both happy. We got lucky and things worked out for us."

He pulled a face when Cepheus talked about his and James's texts. "I don't need details," he promised. "I really don't need details. Albus texts me about missing me and how his day is going and stuff. I get lots of hearts."
