"Are you trying to terrify me on purpose or is it just kind of happening?" Scorpius asked, eying the piles and piles of wedding... stuff that Cepheus had spread out over his and James's flat. Scorpius didn't have any work to do, so he'd shown up to try and help Cepheus get stuff together. Especially since he and Albus were engaged and eventually they were going to have to have a wedding too.

He set down the coffee and sweets he'd picked up on the way over next to Cepheus, then took a seat with him on the couch. "Like marriage isn't scary enough without all this... research and paperwork involved too."

Cepheus was a little stressed out about everything that was going on. Wedding planning was hard and he didn't want to be too stressed out about it, but it was kind of a big deal. A lot was riding on him having a perfect wedding, since he was such a huge designer to his family.

He ran his hands through his hair and sighed, not noticing the post it note stuck to his forehead. "It's not that bad. It's just... I have to decide on a cake by tomorrow."

"Is strawberry cheesecake not an option for weddings? That sucks." Scorpius smiled a little when he noticed the post it note, but didn't say anything, passing Cepheus his coffee instead. "I got you a caramel mocha and I went to the shop and bought a bunch of biscuits and chocolate bars and stuff too."

He crossed his legs underneath himself and leaned over to look at the notes and pictures Cepheus had of cake. "Maybe I'll try and convince Albus to elope. So what are your cake options?"

"I think it's slightly acceptable to have a cheesecake, but not everyone likes cheesecake." Cepheus pointed out as he looked at the cake options he'd scribbled down. He sighed softly and took a sip of his coffee.

"If you want Albus's grandmum to like you, do not elope." Cepheus shook his head and held out the list of options. "There's a cake shop boy coming here in fifteen minutes to deliver the samples."

"It's your wedding," Scorpius said, taking the list from Cepheus. "Isn't that what those girls on telly are always screaming? It's my day and all that nonsense?"

He raised an eyebrow at his brother. "Cake samples?" he repeated. "I don't know. Maybe getting married won't be so bad. It is kind of... I don't know. I just wasn't expecting Albus to propose. I kind of thought he was going to break up with me at first. But there are cake samples."

"Are you suggesting I'm a bridezilla?" Cepheus asked with a frown, crossing his arms over his chest. "You cunt. I am not like those women. And I'm definitely not wearing white. James and I already discussed it."

Cepheus laughed at that and shook his head. "Cake samples. But, I can't believe you wouldn't think Albus would propose to you. You know, James almost talked him out of trying to be with you. Even when he went back with Kit, he kept thinking about you. And how he was just scared that you didn't love him as much as you said, but that he did love you, he just didn't want to fight."

"Well, you're the one who proposed," Scorpius pointed out, laughing. "So if one of you was going to wear white, it should be James. Even if you're the one who's smaller out of the two of you."

He frowned at Cepheus's revelation. "Of course I loved him as much as I said. Everyone who knows me knows I've been in love with Albus forever. It's not like I didn't hope we'd end up together forever. I just thought it would take longer. What did James say to him?"

"Neither of us are a bride, Scorpius. Don't you know how being a fag works?" Cepheus asked, rolling his eyes. "Neither James nor myself are feminine. We're two grooms. And we're having a bohemian wedding."

He shrugged. "I'm not entirely sure what James said to him, but I know it was something about letting you go. I got a lot of texts from Albus about whether or not he should go and talk to you. I convinced him it would be okay to talk to you. I just didn't know the two of you would come out with such a scandalous advertisement for underwear." He grinned at his brother. "Albus has loved you a long time too, Scorpius. You just weren't always around to see it. When you disappeared to move to New York, he was devastated. It was as if he'd gone through a break up. Not even Kit could console him."

"I know you're not women," Scorpius said, shaking his head and laughing at the other boy. "Just, you know. If people were going to assume things, they'd assume you were the bottom, even if James --" Scorpius stopped. Nope. It was not okay for him to talk about having sex with Cepheus's fiance.

"I'm not that upset about Kit not being able to console him, honestly." New subjects were good. "I'm glad you sent Albus to come see me, even if we did end up almost fucking in front of a camera crew. The photos are embarrassing. Just... God. I love him so much and he was pressed against me in his pants. What was I supposed to do?"

"Sorry," Scorpius said, voice soft. He hadn't meant to bring it up like that. He looked down at his hands. "They're embarrassing because it's obvious we're about ten seconds away from fucking. And I saw more than enough of you and James with the first sex tape you showed me."

He took a sip of his coffee and looked at the cake list again. "Where is James? Team practice or something? Cake choice seems like something he'd be into. It's cake."

"He had practice until six and then I'm making him go suit shopping without me." Cepheus admitted as he glanced at a couple of the sheets of wedding ideas. "If I go with him, we end up shagging in the store and it gets complicated. We've already been thrown out of Harrods' dressing rooms."

He ran a hand through his hair and got up when there was a knock at the door. A few men brought in boxes of cake and set it up on the counter for them and then left. He grinned and started opening the boxes. "Come on. Come taste these with me."
