One of the best things about being in New York was that nobody was trying to take his picture. It was going to be a lot more comfortable for Albus here. He didn't have to worry about getting places because his boyfriend was famous. Scorpius hooked his hand together with Albus's as the taxi drove them towards the flat Albus had bought.

"I'm looking forward to seeing where we live in person for the first time," Scorpius said. "Although I'm not sure anything can compete with our London flat. Are you going to be awake enough for your classes tomorrow?"

Scorpius was surprised by just how decorated the flat was. He'd expected something a lot more mis-matched and... Albus-y. He smiled, turning to kiss his boyfriend for a long moment. "I think it looks great," he said. "You did an amazing job."

He ran his fingers through Albus's hair, stealing another kiss from him before pulling away to explore. "It's got high ceilings and exposed brick like our last place too. I love it."

	"That's kind of the feel I liked about it. I like exposed brick and high ceilings." Albus admitted. "I stayed away from any furniture your parents and grandparents would like, because I know how much you don't like those." He followed behind him. "Will you be happy here?" Scorpius laughed at that. "I don't know. My father's got a pretty good sense of design. He's where Cepheus gets his skills from. Mum and Dad are definitely too old fashioned though."

He turned to look at Albus, smiling and grabbing his hand so he could pull the other boy close for a long, slow kiss. "Very happy," he promised. "Even if we lived in a dump in the sticks, I would be ecstatic because we're here together."

Scorpius hated having to work in the mornings, but when a magazine wanted an editorial shot in Central Park, you work of needed to get there at three and get the shots you needed by five if you didn't want tourists interfering. He was exhausted, but he had yet to see Albus's school and they'd been living in New York for three weeks. Now seemed like the perfect time to stop in and meet Albus and his American schoolmates.

He had a couple coffees and a bag with bagels for both of them and was standing in the entrance of Albus's school, trying to figure out how to find anything. And also noting that theatre students in America seemed to be much fitter than the ones in the UK.

Albus caught a glimpse of Scorpius from across the yard and smiled. He yelled Scorpius's name from across the green where he was sitting on the ground with a bunch of girls and playing his guitar while they sang to Disney songs.

New York was great. And everyone was rude, yeah. But, he loved it. He started playing another song, a more popular song and laughed as everyone started to sing about calling them maybe.

Scorpius turned when Albus called his name, raising an eyebrow at the circle of girls he was playing guitar for. At least it wasn't a circle of fit male dancers. He walked over to them and smiled at Albus, leaning down and kissing him briefly to make it very clear to the girls that Albus was taken.

Scorpius sat beside him, pushing his sunglasses up and setting the drinks and bag of bagels down, waiting for Albus to finish playing the song before he spoke. "I'm glad you have people more willing to sing along with you than I am. I brought you coffee and a bagel."

	"Thank you. Girls, this is my fiance. The one I was telling you about." Albus kissed Scorpius again and took the coffee from him, looking at the group of girls as they grinned at Scorpius. "Way too long and way too early in the morning," Scorpius said. He liked these girls. He took a sip of his own coffee and ran a hand through his hair. "This poor intern had to keep chasing ducks out of the fountain because the photographer didn't want them in the shot."

He smothered a yawn. "I'm going to go home and sleep for the rest of the day, but I thought I'd bring you some food first. Meet your friends and see your knew school."

"It's nice to meet you," Scorpius said, smiling at the girls. He glanced at Velma when she mentioned the photoshoot, laughing. "That photoshoot is embarrassing. We're way too into each other for other people to see it. Do they not have it here?"

"We haven't seen pictures of it," Hazel said. "We've just heard Albus mention it. I think Velma tried to find it on google once, but searching for Albus Potter just got us stuff about how he was lead in a couple musicals at university in England."

Scorpius raised an eyebrow at that and then pulled out his phone, finding the proofs in his email. "I have the photos before photoshopping." He wanted Albus's friends to like him. Even if that meant showing them pictures of him and Albus standing around in their undies, almost snogging. He held the phone out to them. "Here," he said. "To thank you for not all being super fit male dancers or something. Albus looks really good in them."

"Albus has a wedding band. You don't have to worry about him." Velma told Scorpius as she looked at the photos, feeling very impressed by them. "Besides that, we're all mother hen's to our little Pottsy. We're not going to let him get himself into trouble."

Albus laughed and rolled his eyes. "Shut up, Vels. You're going to make him think I try to get myself into trouble or something."

"I don't think you try to get yourself into trouble. I just think trouble might come looking for you," Scorpius told Albus, smiling at him and leaning in to steal another kiss. "I like your friends. You're going to hate mine. Francis and Bree split a fruit salad for lunch yesterday."

Hazel leaned in to look at the picture of Albus and his boyfriend along with everyone else, eyebrows raising. "Damn, Albus. You and your boyfriend are hot."

	*** Albus was pretty excited. He'd gotten tickets to see Wicked for him and Scorpius and he thought it was going to be perfect. He knew Scorpius wasn't huge on musical theatre, but he thought he'd at least appreciate this. He smiled as he came into their flat with a huge bouquet of flowers and smiled. Scorpius looked up from the university admissions booklet he was reading and laughed at the bouquet Albus was carrying. "You got me flowers to celebrate two months? You're amazing."

He put the booklet he was reading down, getting up from the couch and walking over to pull Albus into a long kiss. He made a soft sound against his lips. "Happy anniversary," Scorpius said. "All I have to give you is my body. I'm sorry."

Scorpius laughed, leaning in and nipping at Albus's bottom lip. "Since it's our two-months living in New York City anniversary, I think I should give you all of it."

His hands slid under Albus's shirt and he kissed him again. "And then maybe you'll come to a gallery opening with me this weekend? Free wine. I figure if I'm really going to try and get into photography, I should make nice with artists."

"That's the witch one, right?" Scorpius smiled, taking the tickets from Albus and kissing him again. He was not as well-versed as Albus in musical theatre, but he had heard the soundtrack of pretty much every musical out there at this point.

"Going to see Wicked sounds great, Alby. It's pretty amazing that we've managed two months without seeing a Broadway show. You might as well see where you'll be preforming eventually, right?" He pulled Albus close, kissing him again. "We should go out for dinner first and make it a really nice night out."
