One of the best things about being in New York was that nobody was trying to take his picture. It was going to be a lot more comfortable for Albus here. He didn't have to worry about getting places because his boyfriend was famous. Scorpius hooked his hand together with Albus's as the taxi drove them towards the flat Albus had bought.

"I'm looking forward to seeing where we live in person for the first time," Scorpius said. "Although I'm not sure anything can compete with our London flat. Are you going to be awake enough for your classes tomorrow?"

Albus was concerned about moving to New York with Scorpius. He'd been here before and he'd had exes. There was the fear of him not liking the flat that Albus had bought before he even thought he and Scorpius would be together.

And there was also the fear that he'd be in New York and he'd do absolutely nothing. He'd never catch a break. But, he was an actor. And with that, it was very easy to hide his nerves from Scorpius. "Yeah. Of course. I wouldn't miss them, even if I was in a coma. I'd expect you to hire a puppeteer for my body."

Scorpius laughed at that, looking out the window as they drove through the city. "I think I've missed being here," he said, looking at Albus and smiling. "I'm glad we're doing this. I'm back at my old agency, you'll have may more opportunities. It's great."

He leaned over and kissed Albus softly. "I'll keep that in mind for tomorrow morning when we're both feeling our jet lag. It's supposed to be way easier to go the other way than come back in time five hours."

"Doesn't mean we have to stay up for five more hours." Albus pointed out with a small grin. "I know that I've never had a New York experience and that I should go out and have fun my first night, but it can wait until tomorrow night."

He leaned in and kissed Scorpius softly, then pointed up at their building when the car stopped. "That's us. What do you think of the outside?"

Scorpius looked out the window up at the building and smiled. It was painted a muter grey-green and whoever lived on the top floor was growing plants on their balcony. "I think it looks great," he said. "And better maintained than our building in London was."

He paid the taxi driver and then got out of the car, walking around to the boot to get their bags out. "Cepheus should really think about doing something with real estate. I know he loves design, but he's good at this too."

	Albus did as he was told. He'd invited all of his friends over. Most of them were girls, but he did have a few male friends. He mostly invited them to make Scorpius jealous so they'd have amazing sex that night. He stood with Scorpius and smiled at him as people filled their house, taking a sip of his beer. 	The day had been really long, but Albus had loved every single second of it. He was excited about the coming day, because that's when the parade happened. And it was so warm in Florida, he thought he may be burning. He leaned in and kissed Scorpius when they made it back to their room. "I love you so much." He told him. "I can never, ever out do this."
