One of the best things about being in New York was that nobody was trying to take his picture. It was going to be a lot more comfortable for Albus here. He didn't have to worry about getting places because his boyfriend was famous. Scorpius hooked his hand together with Albus's as the taxi drove them towards the flat Albus had bought.

"I'm looking forward to seeing where we live in person for the first time," Scorpius said. "Although I'm not sure anything can compete with our London flat. Are you going to be awake enough for your classes tomorrow?"

	Albus felt so content. He and Scorpius had had a great time in Florida and he was kind of sad about leaving. But, going home was going to be great too. It had to be. "We should wait to come back." Scorpius glanced at Albus, hesitating for a moment, but Cepheus and James were having their first one soon and he and Albus were married. It wasn't unreasonable. "Okay," he agreed, kissing Albus's neck and smiling at him. "We'll bring out kid down here once they're old enough for it."

He smiled and kissed Albus's temple, fingers brushing over the nap of his neck. Life was good.

Scorpius was an uncle for the first time and he and Albus were having their stupid ceremony for their families so they didn't get in trouble for eloping and he had the worst headache. He rubbed Jaks back as he screamed, bouncing the baby a little to try and shut him up, because he'd seen Cepheus do that earlier.

"Your dad is coming," he promised. "I have no idea what to do with you. I should have stayed in America where people didn't make me do another marriage ceremony in their garden."

Albus could hear the baby crying and looked back at Cepheus as he sat in the room with him. "Come on, mate. Go get the baby from him. He's probably a bleeding mess in there right now."

Cepheus shook his head and laughed. "Nope. He's going to have to learn one day. Especially when you convince him it's a good idea to have a kid." He glanced at James. "Do you want to go get Jaks or let Scorpius suffer?"

James was a bit worried about leaving their firstborn child with someone who had almost zero experience with children, but Cepheus seemed to have faith in his brother. "I want to go tell Jaks it's all right, but I feel like the right answer is going along with you in torturing your brother."

"Oh good," Scorpius said, standing in the doorway with Jaks screaming in his choice. "You're not terrible parents. You decided to leave me alone with him on purpose. I don't know how to make it stop. Where is the off button?"

Albus chuckled at that and stood up, walking over to where Jaks was. He took him into his arm and placed him against his chest, the baby's face in his neck.

"The French are glad to die for love." He sang, rubbing the baby's back as he began to calm down.

"They delight in fighting duels." Cepheus chimed in, swaying. "But, I prefer a man who lives and.."

They both sang 'gives expensive jewels'. And Jaks stopped crying.

Scorpius fell onto the couch beside James, shaking his head. "It's exhausting," he said. "I don't know how you do it. I'm going to be the worse parent in the world whenever we're ready to do... this to ourselves."

James laughed at Albus and Cepheus singing to Jaks, then looked at Scorpius, patting his shoulder. "When it's your kid, it's a lot easier to handle. Especially since you know you need to look after it or it'll die. Phe and I basically don't sleep and Jaks has the weirdest lullabies, but that's fine. We love him. Plus, you took Al to Disneyworld. If you can handle looking after him there for a week and a half, you'll be fine."

"Albus going viral is great," Scorpius said, shaking his head. "If he can parse it into some kind of real world gig, it'll be perfect. It's not like he doesn't have the talent and drive to succeed at any job someone offers him. He just needs to get lucky once and the rest is all hard work." Scorpius smiled at Albus. "He's going to be amazing."

James laughed. "I showed the video to everyone on my team," he said. "Then I tweeted about it. So if you do get your big break from singing with Mulan in Disney, I think I should get some credit for it too.

"Oh, I know," Scorpius said, laughing as he looked up at Albus. "I knew what I was getting into when we decided to stay with them, trust me. I just don't think our lives are baby ready yet. When you're done school and working. Then I think we'll be ready."

He ran a hand through his hair, looking between Cepheus and James. "In the meantime, you two should keep it down to one. As soon as you have another one, we're going to have to have at least one too."

Albus didn't know what to do with himself. In less than a year, he'd gone from a no one in a university to being sent to auditions for plays and broadways. They wanted him to audition. It all seemed very unreal.

He looked at Scorpius and smiled at him, holding his hand as they walked through the airport. "Thank you for coming with me." He told him. "I don't think I could take Hollywood without you."

Scorpius shook his head, grinning at Albus. "Of course," he said. "I wouldn't abandon you to come to auditions in LA for the first time alone. It's not like it's fashion week or something. I have the time."

He squeezed Albus's hand, looking around the airport. It was already warmer here than it had been in New York. "I think my agency has someone out here if we end up staying for a while, or I could sign with a new one. We're going to end up being chased by paparazzi because of you soon."

Scorpius snorted, waving down a taxi for them. "I want you to get famous, Albus. I want you to be successful. You're already doing such an amazing job. Maybe one day we can sneak out to Disneyland. That's not really betraying our promise to take our kid with us to Disneyworld the next time we go."

He put their bag in the trunk of the car. "I'll distract you from your nervousness as soon as we get to the hotel. They're going to love you, Albus."

Albus had somehow gotten himself involved with a theater project in LA, and he wasn't sure how. But, he kind of loved it. They did original shows written by unknown writers and made them famous. But, now he was on his way back to New York after a couple of months.

And after a couple of months of not seeing Scorpius every day because of their schedule, he was so happy to be home. He ran up the stairs to their flat and pushed inside, smiling when Scorpius was there. "Oh my God."

"Cabaret?" Scorpius helped Albus get his shirt off, pulling the other boy into a long kiss as he worked on getting him shirtless too. "I actually know what one. That sounds amazing."

He nipped at Albus's bottom lip. "If you're signed on for a long while, maybe now's the time to try and find a surrogate. James and Phe are two ahead of us and trying to get Toni to agree to have their third. If you're in a show here. we're stable enough for it, right?"
