One of the best things about being in New York was that nobody was trying to take his picture. It was going to be a lot more comfortable for Albus here. He didn't have to worry about getting places because his boyfriend was famous. Scorpius hooked his hand together with Albus's as the taxi drove them towards the flat Albus had bought.

"I'm looking forward to seeing where we live in person for the first time," Scorpius said. "Although I'm not sure anything can compete with our London flat. Are you going to be awake enough for your classes tomorrow?"

"I'm going to keep working. Of course." Albus promised her, shaking his head. "But, the child would come first. If there were any complications or if you needed anything, one of us would make sure that you would be cared for."

He smiled at her. "And then there's Caspar. But, he's just as busy as I am these days. But, Xavier owes me for punching me in the face, so he'd take a hit for the team and stay with you."

Ana looked between the two of them and then nodded, smiling. "All right," she said. "I'll carry your child for you. Just this one time. I'm not a baby machine. I have a career of my own to foster."

Scorpius was really hoping there was nothing in Ana's genes that made her so bossy. He didn't want their kid to get that particular trait from her. He ordered the pastries she'd been craving and leaned against Albus.

"We don't even have our child yet and I'm already exhausted just looking after his mother," he said, groaning softly. "What is having a baby going to be like?"

Albus was amused by Scorpius and how much he hated catering to Ana and all her needs. He smiled at his husband and brushed their lips together, shaking his head. It was a hope to assure him it would all be fine.

"I think a baby will be less needy." Albus pointed out with a grin. "Just be thankful we didn't use Antonia. I heard she cried all the time and ate with Cepheus all the time."

"We'd have to fly Antonia out here to be our surrogate if we'd wanted to use her too. Plus, that's getting too incestuous for me and James and Phe have sort of staked their claim on her. She's having their next one," Scorpius pointed out. "Rex had enough trouble getting Lavinia to have kids for the two of them. There's no way she'd have a kid for me. I'm not even her favourite brother."

Scorpius sighed, taking the box of pastries when it was handed to him. "But if we have another kid, you're the donor and I get to find the surrogate because I think I'd pick someone easier to get along with."

	"Come on, Scorpi. Ana is great." Albus shook his head and leaned in, kissing his cheek. "Sure, she's a little bossy. But, you're going to get exactly what you wanted. A talented, beautiful child who is technically a Malfoy." He smiled at him and led him out of the bakery. "After Ana gives birth, I've lined her up for an audition for Spring Awakening." "Hey, I had no problem with our kid not being a blood Malfoy," Scorpius said, shaking his head as he followed Albus out of the shop. "You thought Ana would be good because she has musical talent like you do. I get it. It makes a lot of sense. She's just driving me nuts."

He raised an eyebrow at Albus. "She'll like that," he said. "Have you told her about it yet? It'll be good for her to have something to look forward to."

	Albus and Ana had kind of bonded while she was pregnant. He smiled at her as he lay with her on the bed, waiting for Scorpius to come home so he could feel the baby kicking up a storm. But, they were busy doing the most intimate thing a man and a woman could do in bed. Singing a duet for the baby. He rubbed her tummy as they sang, smiling to himself. Ana liked Albus a lot. She sang along with him as the baby danced away inside her belly, smiling and playing with his curly hair. It was really too bad he was gay and married. And that this baby wasn't his. It would have had to much talent.

"If you want another baby, I'd have it for you," Ana told Albus, after the song ended. "If we had a child together, it would be an unstoppable force. Of course, it'd have to wait a few years to be born. Let's do Can You Feel The Love Tonight next."

	Albus laughed at that and looked up at Ana. "I think we'll just be having the one child. But, if something happens and you need a baby donor, I'd be more than happy to help you out with it." Scorpius raised an eyebrow at Albus, shaking his head. "Ana gets too disappointed in my singing voice," he said, shrugging off his jacket. He walked around the bed so he could sit on her other side, touching her belly. "He feels happy."

"He's dancing," Ana said, giving her stomach a proud look. "Of course. He's a natural. He'll be a star. You got him into the preforming arts preschool, didn't you?"

	"Yes. We did." Albus nodded, smiling at her. "They seemed very happy to be receiving my child in four years. Especially after I showed them the surrogate's singing talent. Ana smiled at Albus. "Good idea," she said. "We'll celebrate you choosing the right preschool for him." She looked at Scorpius when Albus got up to get them food. "Where have you been? You missed us singing to the baby."

"I get to hear you sing to him a lot, trust me," Scorpius said, sighing and pulling his hand off Ana's belly when the baby stopped kicking. "I had a photoshoot and then I had a photography class to go to. I know you don't think what I do matters, but it is my job."

Albus looked down at his son in his arms and did his best not to start crying. He was beautiful. Perfect. The most perfect thing he'd ever seen in his entire life.

They were having a small baby shower and everyone had flown into New York to see them in their new house. Charlie was karaoking a David Bowie song and everyone else was huddled around them.

"Baby." Rigby declared as she poked at his forehead.

"Careful, Rigs," James said, smoothing back his daughter's hair and smiling at her. "The baby is still really small. He's delicate." He pulled her into his lap so she could get a better view of him. "Do you think your little brother is going to be as cute as your cousin?"

Scorpius was hovering around Albus and Darby, feeling a bit suspicious of anyone else touching their kid, even if most of them had children of their own. He ran his fingers through Albus's hair, leaning down to kiss Darby's forehead. "I don't think you and Cepheus could do much better than him," he said.

"You only say that because he's your son. But, remember how terrified you were of holding Jaks when he was a baby." Cepheus pointed out, rolling his eyes at his brother. "I told you it would be different when you had your own son."

Albus laughed at that and shook his head, placing Darby in Antonia's wanting arms. "He is perfect, but I think we all have beautiful children. I want them to all be friends."

"Move back to England," James said, snorting. "I'm not going to pull a Beckham and play in a country that doesn't appreciate football properly. Besides, all our family lives in the UK."

Scorpius watched his sister with Darby, shaking his head. "Albus has way more career opportunities out here than he would in England. Plus, I'm pretty sure our surrogate had a clause in the contract we signed with her saying Darby needs to be trained in musical theatre here."

Xavier laughed at that as he walked over with Beau in his arms. "That sounds like Ana," he said. He patted Cepheus on the shoulder, smiling at him and ignoring the dirty look James Potter was giving him. "Long time no see."

Cepheus looked up at Xavier and smiled at him. Even if he loved James, there was still a very special place in his heart for Xavier. They'd been best friends. He smiled and stood, taking the baby from Xavier and smiling at him. "Look at this beautiful little boy."

Antonia smiled down at Darby, holding him on her very large baby bump. "This is his first meeting with Moses, yeah?" She rested him on his stomach so he was against her bump. "I bet they'll be best friends."

Xavier grinned, watching Cepheus with his son. "This is Beau," he said. "He's not usually this quiet. I think he's just feeling a bit shy because there are so many new people around. Beau, this is Cepheus. He's my best friend."

Beau gave Cepheus his best shy look and then wrapped his chubby little arms around his neck and gave him a hug. It usually made adults like him more.

Scorpius watched Antonia pretty Darb against her bump, laughing a little. "If you're not careful, you're going to pop Moses out in New York instead of London," he said, smiling at her.

Cepheus smiled and rubbed at Beau's back. "It's nice to meet you, Beau." He told him, then got onto his knees beside his own kids. "Beau, this is my son Jaks and my daughter Rigby."

Rigby smiled at the boy and held out her hand to him, not leaving her Daddy's lap. "Hi Boo."

"Don't say that. I can't afford to pop out a baby right now. This country doesn't have healthcare." Antonia told him with a snort, then rubbed Darby's back. "Even if I do feel like today is the day."
