Rider found Pyxis siting by herself in the common room and flopped down next to her. Things had been easier for him lately and he was starting to hate everyone a little bit less. He knew he had Pyxis to thank for it. He wrapped an arm around her. "You telling on my cousin or half-brother or whatever the fuck he was really made them lighten up on me."

He looked down at her. "Sorry about your friend being put away for close observation or whatever they're calling it. How's the half-brother of mine that you're fucking?"

Rider frowned. "I fucking hate it," he said. "I'd rather be locked up down here. That's why I get locked up down here." He glanced at Walden. "But they probably wouldn't drug Thoreau into a stupor, would they?"

"No," Walden said, shaking his head. "Rooney is being kept sedated, but Thoreau isn't a threat to others. Just to himself. He'd be kept under close observation and someone would sit with him throughout most of the day. They'd work to get him better, making sure he took his meds and didn't hurt himself. He'd probably be put in an exercise class up there too. It would help him."

	"I think you should find a way to get Thoreau to the third floor. It's the safest thing for him." Pyxis moved so she was sitting on the corner of the desk in front of Walden. "What if you just had people watch the both of them so that neither of them can associate with the other?" She asked, running her fingers through Walden's hair with a smile. 	Walden nodded. "I think that's what I'm going to do," he said. "Rooney should be sedated enough not to act up anyway, but I think it would be good to make sure he can't." Pyxis made a soft noise against Walden's lips and shook her head. "You keep kissing me like that, you'll never have to apologise for anything." She told him with a laugh and then glanced back at Rider for a moment. She ran a hand through her hair.

"I think you should let Rider off his meds now." Pyxis told Walden quietly. "He's been on his best behaviour. I think he deserves a little fun."

Walden sighed, touching Pyxis's cheek and kissing her again. "A girl almost killed herself because she got caught up with him. It wasn't entirely his fault, but he had a lot to do with it. I can't let him off too easily, Pyxis," he said, keeping his voice low.

"I can hear you both," Rider said, frowning at them. "I don't give a fuck about Pansy anymore. I won't go near her. She's obsessed with Luka anyway."

	Pyxis looked back at Walden for a moment and sighed softly. She ran her fingers through his hair. Things didn't feel right for some reason and she couldn't figure out why. "I'm still going to see through this course of pills and then re-evaluate when it's over," Walden told Pyxis, shaking his head. "It's procedure. I can't ignore it because my girlfriend is friends with the patient we're treating."

Rider really wanted to at least be able to wank again, at least. "Fine," he said, frowning a bit. "It's whatever, Pyxis. Walden's too much of a pussy to go against Snape."

	"Fine." Rider rolled his eyes at Pyxis and then pushed himself up, leaving his chair. He ruffled her hair affectionately. "I'll see you later." Walden watched Rider leave, then turned his attention to Pyxis again. "He's really taken to you. That's good. He needs a good influence like you in his life. Is there something wrong?"
