Lucy stepped into the common room and smiled when she saw Pyxis, walking over and dropping into the seat next to her. "So tell me everything I've missed," she said, tucking her hair behind her ear. Their hair was pretty much the only thing she and the other Lucy agreed on. Lucy hated pastels and the girly things the other Lucy liked. Especially Cinderella. She liked Star Wars and rock music and heavy eyeliner, skimpy clothes, and high shoes. Which didn't mean other people could make fun of the other Lucy. Lucy was very protective of her.

"In your life, I mean. It's been fucking forever since I've been out. Do you have any fags, or do I have to go bum them off Rider?" she asked, crossing her legs as she played with a hole in the thigh of her sheer, black stockings.

"We can do another if you like." Radley looked back at Lucy and smiled, brushing his fingers gently through her hair. "Or we can play a board game. Anything that you want."

"Well, first I need to change," Lucy said firmly, looking down at herself and what she was wearing. "This is completely inappropriate, and I feel like a raccoon with all this makeup on. It takes me forever to get it off."

"Alright. You can do that." Radley told her, then leaned in and kissed the corner of her mouth. He pulled back. "I'll be waiting here for you when you get back."

Lucy blushed when Radley kissed the edge of her mouth, even if he liked boys. It was still kind of like getting a kiss from someone, and he was really handsome. Tall and muscular and strong. "Okay," she said, smiling at him and then dashing to her room to change clothes as quickly as she could. Radley made her feel nice. Safe. Something had settled in her stomach and now she felt like she could definitely trust him.
