Lucy stared at the empty bed on the other side of her room. She couldn't believe Pansy had gotten out of the hospital already. It was a lot easier to be there, now that Radley was around, but it was still... She was still there, in the hospital, even though she'd been working really hard at her therapy and taking all her medications to try and get out.

She frowned at Pansy's empty bed and then got to her feet, leaving the room to seek out company in the common room. She found Radley easily enough, sitting beside him and leaning against his side. "I wonder if I'll get a new roommate now that Pansy's not around anymore."

	"No. It doesn't make you a bad person." Radley shook his head. "I think it means you don't want to be the craziest person here. But, if it makes you feel better, I think that Rider will be here forever." He kissed her forehead and smiled down at her. "I wouldn't mind being called crazy if I got to stay with you." "Sometimes the other me says she thinks we'll be here forever," Lucy told Radley. "I know because Snape tells me what she says to him sometimes. Since I don't remember it like she remembers me."

She leaned her head against his shoulder. "You being here makes everything easier. Better." She kissed him softly and then sat up straighter. "We should do something productive today. Show everyone we're healthy and strong."

"If I got out before you then I'd come visit you as often as I possibly could and we'd talk about how great it was going to be when we were both out and we could do whatever we wanted." There had to be some sort of way the two of them could have a date while they were in the facility. He chewed at his lip. "Maybe I could convince that Charlie bloke to sneak us out one night. Lucy gave Radley a surprised look. "Like... out-out? That... That would be amazing. I haven't been outside in months. Not since they took us on a field trip to the zoo. But then Rider freaked out and started yelling at the monkeys so they brought us home."

She grinned at Radley. "I'd love that so much. You have no idea, Radley. It would be wonderful to get out of here even for a little."

	Lucy wilted a little. She wasn't normally late for her sessions. "I'm sorry, Doctor Snape," she said. She gave Radley and apologetic smile and leaned in to kiss his cheek. "I'll see you in a bit." "A -- he's not a distraction," Lucy said, giving Doctor Snape a shocked look. "I'm still focusing on my treatment and doing my exercises and writing in my journal and going to group. I just -- He's a reason for me to try harder. So we can both see each other outside the hospital too."

She twisted her hands in her lap. "You shouldn't move him. We're good for each other. We're really good together."

"It's not true that the other you has been coming out more often?" Severus asked as he took a seat behind his desk and looked Lucy over carefully. "That he doesn't condone that behaviour? Embraces that you have two different personalities?"

He arched a brow. "I'm not sure that's helping you. It's giving you the idea that it's acceptable and she's coming out and using your body. With him. How does that make you feel?"

"How can you be sure of that, Lucy?" Severus asked, shaking his head. "It's not as if you can actually remember what happened when she lets you have your body back. If anything, you should want to fight harder to keep your body so you can spend your time with Radley."

He tapped his fingers on the desk. "And you can never trust someone like Radley. He was a prostitute. How long do you think he'll hold out for you if you aren't giving him what he's used to?"

Lucy was trembling a bit, but doing her best to hide it and to remain in control of herself. She didn't think of Radley as a former prostitute. He hadn't wanted to do the things he'd done. "I want to trust him," she said, shaking her head. "Are you saying I should sleep with Radley? I don't... I'm a good girl."

She looked up at Snape, giving him a sad look. "I don't want to think about this stuff. He's my boyfriend. I just want to fancy him."

"No. I don't condone having sex in this facility, Lucy." Severus reached across the desk and took Lucy's hand into his own. "I know that you are a good girl. I'm only looking out for you because you are a good girl."

He squeezed her hand in his. "I am only saying to be careful. An to not invest everything in Radley Macnair." He looked her over carefully and then stood, pulling out a file. "This is everything you need to know about Radley Macnair. Everything he's done."

"I... I don't..." Lucy reached for the file and then snapped her hand back as she changed. She looked up at Snape and frowned. "Isn't there supposed to be some sort of doctor-patient confidentiality in place, Snape? You're breaking the rules. I don't want her to read that. She doesn't really want to read it."

She leaned back in her seat, raising an eyebrow at him. "What the matter, are you jealous Radley gets to kiss her and touch her and all you can do is hold her hand? Should have known you'd have a thing for good girls. All the best perverts do."

A frown formed on Severus's lips when the other Lucy came out of hiding. He took the file back and arched a bow at her, taking a seat in his chair.

"I can assure you, Lucy. I do not have a thing for any girl." Severus informed her, then looked the girl over. "You are simply her minds way of keeping things from her. The things she doesn't want to deal with. Perhaps she's afraid of what might be in this file. Do you really want to see Radley destroy her? That's all he's capable of doing."

Lucy crossed her arms over her chest. "So tell me what he's capable of doing and I'll tell you if I think she should care," she said. "I keep things from her when she doesn't need to know them. If she needs to know, you can tell her."

Radley was a sweet boy, no matter what Snape said. Maybe he'd done horrible things, but Lucy was only here because she'd gotten arrested stealing things from a shop. She'd done bad things too.

	Severus rolled her eyes. This Lucy was much harder to deal with. He wished he could erradicate her all together. He sighed softly and steepled his fingers as he looked back at her. "Radley slept with his mother's boyfriends. As far as I've learned, he's never been intimate with a woman." Snape replied. "He's only been interested in men. Until now." Lucy looked back at Snape for a moment, then shrugged. "So now that his mother isn't letting men pay to have sex with him and he's allowed to choose a partner for himself he chose a girl. So what?"

It was something that would worry the other Lucy, though. She'd have to tell Radley about this conversation so he could handle Lucy when she found out, or maybe tell her beforehand. "I don't see the problem. Radley likes us."
