"When did we get so old?" Victoire leaned back against Scorpius's bed and looked back at him. "I mean... it's your fifteenth birthday today. Mine is next month. I don't even understand how we aged so fast. I feel like we should still be in diapers." She sighed dramatically and then leaned against Scorpius. "Am I getting wrinkles yet?"

Cepheus was bored. Scorpius was spending all his time with Victoire and he was left to his own devices. He ran a hand through his curly hair, glancing between Teddy and Xavier. "M'bored." He informed them both, then flopped back against the floor beneath him. "For fuck sake. We need to find something to do. What do you think, Teds?"

Albus glanced at Marigold, who was braiding Charlotte's hair. He didn't even know why he was over. Probably because Marigold and Charlotte had both invited him over. "You should put flowers in her hair." Albus suggested, looking Charlotte over. "You have really pretty skin. I wish mine was that smooth."

"I don't fancy getting into my knickers for you. No offense." Victoire looked Teddy over and then leaned against Scorpius a bit. "You wouldn't let anything bad happen to me if I were in them. I know you." She gave him a sweet kiss.

Albus had to do his best not to grumble at that. He frowned for a moment and then looked at Teddy. "I'd wear my pants for you, Teddy." He promised.

"I'm not going to be kidnapped and murdered." Louis shook his head, looking his sister over. "Sometimes I think you're jealous that all the men like me and not you. They can probably feel the cold radiating from your vagina without even getting you naked."

Scorpius smiled when Victoire kissed him. "I wouldn't," he agreed, and then kissed her forehead. He looked at Albus when he said he'd get in his pants for Teddy. "You could get into them for the rest of us too."

Teddy felt a bit grumpy about the kiss. He wrapped an arm around Albus and shook his head. "Nope. Albus is on my team now. You can have Xavier and I'll take Cepheus, only because I know if you and Cepheus were on the same team it wouldn't end well."

"The men I like wouldn't like you," Charlotte pointed out, rolling her eyes at Louis. "I like straight boys. Boys my own age or only a little older than me, not old pervy men who are only interested because I'm young and pretty. Honestly, Louis. I don't know why you do that to yourself. And don't talk about my vagina. At least I don't have any diseases."

Albus frowned at that. "You won't get into your pants." He pointed out, then glanced at his watch. "We've still got time until the party starts. Take off your pants, Scorpius."

"What's that about taking off pants?" Caspar asked, feeling kind of insecure where he was. He'd gotten there early and was probably the only Hufflepuff who would show up. "Hi. Your Mum sent me up because I'm early."

Louis frowned at that. "I don't have any diseased. What the fuck, Charlotte?" He shook his head. "I think you're just jealous that no boys like you because you're such a cunt."

"I thought we'd established that if I took them off I'd be naked from the waist down and that that was a bad thing," Scorpius said, laughing as he glanced at the nervous looking kid in the door. "Nobody's stripping except maybe Teddy," he said, to reassure him. "Come in, I guess."

Xavier's eyes lingered on Caspar for a moment, and then he looked at his hair. "What do you have growing on your head?" he asked. "You're even worse than Albus and Cepheus."

Charlotte picked up her pillow and threw it at her brother. "You can't just come in here and chase my friends away and then call me a cunt!" she yelled at him. "Go away!"

Caspar looked up at the much larger man and his swooped hair. He frowned at him and shook his head. "Do you always insult the guests when they first walk in?" He asked and then smiled at Scorpius. "I'm sorry I am so early. My mum dropped me off."

Cepheus looked the boy over and then frowned at his brother. "What do you mean, it's worse? My hair isn't bad."

"I can. Because Mum and Dad aren't home." Louis informed her and then shook his head. "You really are jealous!"

Scorpius wasn't entirely sure how he'd ended up being the one to welcome the new boy into the room. Cepheus or Teddy were usually the ones who were friendly and welcoming and made friends. "It's okay," he said, after glancing at his brothers for a moment before turning his attention back to Caspar. "Come and hang out with us. I -- uh -- I'm Scorpius."

"No, but it's curly and you won't let me touch it," Xavier said, reaching out and tugging on one of Cepheus's curls gently. "I just want to use product on it. That's all."

"I am not!" Charlotte snapped. She wanted to throw her other pillow at him too. Why did Louis have to be so annoying? "Why would I be jealous of you hooking up with random men? I don't want to be some... some sex object." She kind of did, but still.

Caspar did as he was asked and sat beside Scorpius. "I'm Caspar. Caspar Longbottom." He smiled and then glanced at Xavier. "Is he always so grumpy looking?"

"Yes." Victoire nodded and leaned against Scorpius. "He's always looking that grumpy because it's in his blood. Macnair and all."

"You're not allowed to use product. Use product on Albus's head. He's got curls too, you know." Cepheus rubbed Albus's head.

Louis snorted at that. "Of course you do." He told her. "And you're jealous because I've shagged all the boys you like. Don't worry. I'm working on Evan Rosier."

"He's not really that grumpy," Scorpius said, glancing at Xavier and then back at Caspar, laughing. "He just really likes doing hair." Somehow, even though Xavier had him and Cepheus and Teddy for brothers, he'd managed to turn out the gayest of them all.

Xavier glanced at Albus's hair consideringly. "I could do a lot with your head, you know," he told him. "We have time before the party starts. I could cut it and put product in it to make it less... big."

"I like Albus fuzzy," Teddy said, reaching up and ruffling his curls. "You're all just lucky you can't grow hair at will. Do you know how many hours I've spent letting Xavier experiment on my head? Too many."

"Evan's not gay!" Charlotte snapped. Why was Louis so mean to her? She got up and went to her closet to find her dress for the party. "I'm going to go over early. Talking to you is a waste of time."

Caspar nodded and then smiled at Scorpius. "Thanks for inviting me to this. I don't really get invited to many parties outside of the choir and drama parties. This seems like it's going to be a lot of fun."

Albus shook his head. "You're not getting your hands on my curls." He informed him and then leaned against Teddy, pouting. "I don't like Victoire and Scorpius so close."

Louis rolled his eyes. "I bet he is gay. I bet I can make him gay with my mouth." He informed her.

"I didn't know the choir and the drama club had parties," Scorpius said, laughing and then glancing at Victoire. He wasn't really all that good at talking to people. Did he mention his father was the one who invited people? Probably not, right? "I'm glad you could come. They're supposed to finish setting everything up soon, I think."

Teddy glanced at Victoire and Scorpius cuddling and made a face. "Yeah, I'm not a big fan of it either," he told him. "At least Scorpius is pretty much all gay. And honour-bound as my brother to not touch Victoire. I'd be more worried about Longbottom getting friendly with him if I were you. He's definitely gay. He sings and dances."

"I bet Evan's a gentleman and he'll think it's weird that you're even approaching him with something like that if you make the mistake of trying," Charlotte told Louis, turning to frown at him. "You're wasting yourself."

"It looks really nice down there. There's a disco ball." Caspar smiled at Scorpius for a moment. Scorpius was... kind of attractive, now that he was looking at him. "Do you want to sneak a peek?"

Albus frowned at that. "Scorpius isn't really gay... Is he?" He asked, looking back at Teddy. "He's never said anything to me about it before."

"What if I just fall down on my knees and take his warm, thick cock into my mouth?" Louis shook his tongue at his sister and snorted. "You're such a prude."

"A disco ball?" Scorpius would have to defer to his mum, dad, and grandmother's decorating skills and experience on this. He glanced at Victoire and then back at Caspar. "Okay, yeah," he agreed. "Let's go look. I'm going to see it in an hour anyway."

Teddy blinked at Albus for a moment, then snorted. "What did you think the David Bowie thing was?" he asked. "And the whole... I mean, look at him. He's gay. He's my brother. Trust me. Super gay."

Charlotte flushed when Louis started saying dirty things and penises. "I'm not a prude. Just because I don't talk about... dropping to my knees for boys doesn't mean I'm a prude."

Victoire felt kind of abandoned, but she leaned back against the bed and shrugged. She'd just lay there by herself, then. Even if he was supposed to read trashy romance novels with her.

Caspar smiled at him and nodded, then pulled back. "You want to come with us, Grumpy Gills?"

"You... What?" Albus looked at Scorpius as he got up. "I'm going with them." He informed Teddy and then popped up by Scorpius's side. "Where are you going?"

"You won't let them touch you either." Louis informed his sister. "Face it. No boy is ever going to want to date you because you don't put out."

Teddy shifted closer to Victoire, smiling at her. "You look sad," he said. "Scorpius is going to get a boyfriend eventually. You can't fight the inevitable for forever."

Xavier frowned at Caspar for a moment. "Grumpy Gills?" he repeated, getting up. He looked at Cepheus. "Come on. Let's go take a peek at what mum's doing for you."

Scorpius looked at Albus and smiled. "Just to look at the decorations and what they have set up so far," he told him. "Want to come?"

"Some people are looking for more than sex, Louis," Charlotte told her brother, shaking her head. "They want a real connection. Love. I don't have to sleep with people to get them to like me."

Victoire frowned at Teddy. "I'm not... I'm not worried about him getting a boyfriend. Don't be stupid, Teddy." She crossed her arms over her chest.

"Yes. You look really grumpy. So I'm going to call you Grumpy Gills. Like the movie." Caspar replied and looked back at Xavier. "You look like you're going to punch me."

Albus nodded. "Yeah. Of course." He told him, moving a little closer to Scorpius's side. "It's weird. A Hufflepuff being here."

"With your personality?" Louis arched a brow and snorted. "Yes you will. I'll see you at the party, Charlotte."

Teddy was a bit disappointed Victoire was denying it so hard. It meant that she was definitely worried about Scorpius having a boyfriend. "I don't know," he said. "It seems like you're a bit worried, at least. You could get one too."

"I'm not planning on it yet," Xavier told Caspar. Was this how Hufflepuffs made friends? Insulting people and basically inviting them to hit you? "Hufflepuffs are weird."

"Well, Dad did invite the whole school," Scorpius pointed out. "The whole school includes Hufflepuff. It'll be..." He paused and then laughed. "It'll be an interesting experience having him here for sure."

"I hope not." Charlotte felt like... basically just screaming at her brother. She took her dress and stormed out of her room, locking herself in the bathroom to get ready for the party.

Caspar felt kind of out of sorts. He chewed at his bottom lip. "I was only trying to make conversation. I don't know any of you and my mother made me come to this thing. Something about making friends."

Albus nodded. "Why haven't you told me you're gay yet?" He asked, wishing he could take it back as soon as the words left his mouth.

"Well, there'd probably be a person attached to the penis," Teddy pointed out. He wondered if petting Victoire's hair would be weird. Probably. She'd punch him or something. Wound him with her words. "Albus, maybe. Or that Hufflepuff kid. He looked interested."

"Do you need friends?" Xavier asked Caspar. "I'm not that surprised, with the way you're acting. Even Hufflepuff for all the rest hasn't accepted you?"

Scorpius stared at Albus for a long moment. "I... what?" he asked, frowning a little. Where had that come from? He blinked. "I'm not gay," he said. He was bisexual, kind of. He was kind of attracted to Victoire, so he thought it counted. But he'd also just been blindsided by the question. "I -- Why?"

"Scorpius would never date a Hufflepuff." Victoire felt insulted by the mere thought of it. She shook her head and looked over Teddy. "Why are you so obsessed with me?"

"I have a couple of friends, but I doubt they'll show up tonight." Caspar replied and looked up at Xavier. "I don't have to talk to you if you're going to be a dick to me."

Albus looked at Scorpius for a moment. He wasn't sure if he was shocked or appalled by the question. "I was... you know. Teddy told me you were."

"I'm not..." Well... he was. Lying probably wasn't a great way to start their relationship, when Teddy thought about it. He shrugged and smiled at her. "You're beautiful. I love spending time with you. Why wouldn't I be obsessed with you?"

"You're the one who started it," Xavier told him. "You said I looked grumpy and like I was going to punch you. Just because I'm a Macnair doesn't mean I'm violent, you know. That's just the stereotype for my family. I try and subvert it."

"Oh," Scorpius said. Why was Teddy talking about his sexuality? "Weird. Well, I'm bisexual. Just so you know. Teddy was probably trying to provoke you into asking me weird questions."

"I didn't mean that you were violent. You just looked like you hated me." Caspar pointed out and looked back at Xavier. "I didn't say you were going to punch me. Just that it looked like you wanted to."

Albus looked back at Scorpius for a moment. Bisexual. He probably had a preference for women. "Okay." He told him and then shrugged. "I'm gay. I just.. didn't think it was a big deal. We've been friends for a long time and you never told me."

"It's not that weird. First cousins are allowed to be married," Teddy pointed out. "Royals do it all the time. And your mum's bloodline is completely different and my mother is half-muggle so her blood is completely different too. It would even out in our kids."

"I didn't want to. Now I'm not so sure,"Xavier told Caspar, shaking his head. "I feel like you think I'm some mindless, violent thug or something. Maybe I should try to live up to the image. I didn't even know you then. How would I know I didn't like you?"

Albus was gay. Scorpius was oddly... He liked that thought. He smiled at his friend. "I guess I just assumed you knew. I mean, with the way I talk about Bowie and everything. Thank you. For telling me."

Victoire looked back at Teddy and frowned. "Teddy. We're related and I'm not into that." She promised him and then swore under her breath. "Maybe I should leave."

Caspar stared at Xavier and then gave him a sad look. He schooled his expression into a frown. "I should leave. Scorpius can just have the gift I bought him." He walked off from Xavier.

"No. I didn't know." Albus looked Scorpius over and then shoved his hands in his pockets nervously. "I don't like assuming things either."

"No," Teddy said quickly, putting a hand on Victoire's leg. "I don't want you to go, Tor. I'm not going to... I mean, I can cool it a bit if that's what you want. I just like showing you how much I like you. You know?"

"You're probably smarter than me," Scorpius told Albus, nodding in agreement. "Not assuming anything. "Do you --" He was cut off by Xavier coming over and grabbing his shoulder. "What?"

"I might have chased the Hufflepuff off," Xavier said, frowning to himself. "It was an accident. He was annoying. Be like grandma and deal with it."

Scorpius rolled his eyes, then gave Albus an apologetic look. "I'll be right back," he said, and went after Caspar. "Don't go," he said. "Xavier told me he was a jerk to you. I'm sorry about him."

"Well. You can't like me." Victoire informed him with a deep frown. "Because we're related. I'm not going to let you like me. Okay?"

Albus frowned at Xavier. "What'd you do that for?" He asked and shook his head. "Now Scorpius is going to run off and be with him."

Caspar was half-crying by the time that Scorpius caught up with him. He turned his head. "Don't worry about it. I shouldn't be here anyway. I don't belong."
